Horrible Histories: Horrible Christmas Kindle Edition

My boys love this series. I hope someday my grandchildren do because they are piling up!! The Boys are always reading something from this line and learning while laughing.

The book was a hit with my grandson in Texas who is a big fan of all if the Horrible Histories series.I am upset, however, because I ordered 2 and only received 1. So my other grandson in Pennsylvania couldn't have one.The book was great, though. But the order was incomplete.

Nothing to like the least. Therefore, everything to like the most. A pretty horrible way to learn about the reality of Christmas, from gay traditions to glorious food to stomach-turning snippets to Puritans prohibiting it. As for the Christmas story included in the booklet, it could only have sprung from Terry Deary's feverish mind. Read it! All of it! If you dare ... ar ar ar!

I love learning about History, and this was just perfect so I can share these Christmas facts at Christmas parties!

Another great book in the Horrible History series. I learned so many different things. Granted it has parts with a darker twist, but it wouldn't be true to the series without info on dark events in Christmas history.

LOVE this series and would have likely enjoyed this book - except the formatting for Kindle seemed as if the pages were scanned in as photos or pdfs. Two pages of the book were side-by-side on each Kindle page. The print was *tiny* and we were unable to enlarge the font through standard means - but if we zoomed in, the print distorted and became fuzzy. We haven't experienced this issue with other kindle titles in the series and were sad to have to return this one for refund. Would re-purchase if formatting errors are fixed.

Horrible Histories ricks for my boys. To have a Christmas addition to their collection is just what they asked from Santa!

Lovely interesting,amusing factual history on different Christmases. A must for the young History enthusiasts.

I bought this to go in my daughter's Christmas Eve box with her new pj's, it was well received. I've noticed her dipping in and out of it several times over the last couple of days. Lots of weird & wonderful snippets of history
