I bought this cord recently because the old one had bent in one spot to the point it split one of the wires. The plug fits perfectly in the power adapter. It fits snug, but not too tight. The cord is thinner than the original, but I believe the outer jacket is thinner, but the wires inside are the same gauge. So far everything works perfectly and haven't noticed any part of the cord or adapter getting warm or hot. Only time will tell the durability (the previous one was 14 years old, original equipment), but so far happy with the product.

Exact chord I needed

Fits perfectly. Will have as a spare. Recently went on a cruise and the cpap cord was left on Miami. No cpap for many days. With this state, never go without his cpap.
