Good quality item; solid wood
Although pricey, this is a very solid remote control holder, made of real wood, not wood by-products or "wood grain" artificial stuff. The color was good for me, since I have cherry furniture. For others, it would be nice to have a selection of stains. The finish is average, not rough but not highly sanded. The four spaces for the remotes are quite large; you don't have to worry about whether yours will fit. As a matter of fact, they could probably be a bit smaller. Anyway, neither I nor my daughter has lost a remote since I got this, which is the whole point, isn't it? :-)
