We loved this puzzle so much that when a family member didn’t return it after borrowing we bought a new one. The details in the picture are clever. The puzzle is well made.

Great brand! Nice colors, tight perfect fit. Solid packaging with extra bag to store after you finish. Highly recommend Dowdle puzzles.

Great puzzle

Dowdy puzzles come in a nice box with a separate color picture of the puzzle. The gingerbread puzzle was a little tough for 500 pieces but entertaining. There are many different famous gingerbread men/women in the puzzle. Dowdy also lists all of the gingerbread men/women and where to find each one when done with the puzzle.I've also done the Dowdy Omaha puzzle which was fun and informative. This puzzle also came with a separate color picture and on the back there lists all of the structures in Omaha that are in the puzzle.

I have purchased many puzzles by this artist. I love almost 100% of them. I have to agree with Eva from SC, to label the guide poster as much as this one was, simply ridiculous. You couldn’t use the guide at all. Was a waste. I almost took the puzzle down before I finished. So frustrating!

Most Dowdle puzzles are lots of fun because of all the special details the artist hides in the puzzle. Gingerbread House, artist, Eric Dowdle tried too hard to be clever on this one. Although it's delightful to have all these characters depicted in the puzzle, the poster inside, which makes Dowdle special, is mostly useless. The artist felt it important to identify all 100 characters by placing a numbered circle over each character, thereby obscuring detail. Still a fun puzzle but frustrating.
