Body Champ Pro Cycle Trainer, Red/Black

I am a road biker and do 2500 miles in the summer so spinning in the winter (Michigan) is important. I rode this bike in Dumhams sports in Howell and liked it. It was on sale for $200.00 I ordered it from Amazon so that I could get Kroger points. That said I have used the bike now for two weeks. I can not give it 5 stars because I had to open up the chain guard and remove all of the awful red lithium grease that was spattered on the chain and not applied correctly but dabbed on here and there.I used a degreaser then applied a clear blaster chain lubricant. This made an immediate difference in the sound level and smoothness. Next, there was a tick on the left side coming from the petal. The harder the tension applied the more the tick. Something was bad in the axle of the left petal.I had a standard flat road petal 10 years old and very used so I put in on the left side. Voila', no tick and the bike is now running smoothly.On the (+) note the seat is easy to adjust with the spring loaded knob arrangement. The bike is heavy at 90+ lbs and still rocked slightly so I put the bike on 1/2" foam puzzle mat and that has stopped any rocking from side-to-side. I can get a very good workout on this bike 90+% like on a real bike with hills. The key is that the tension adjustment is just right. 1/4 turn is noticeable and 1/2 turn tight is a small hill, 1 full turn is a larger hill etc.I am keeping the bike only because I was able to fix it. If I did not have that ability I would in no way be keeping it.

I've been looking for a heavy-duty cycle trainer for a while, and came across this a month or so ago. It doesn't have the bells and whistles that a lot of cycles sport, but for someone who just wants to get a good workout and not worry about the bike falling apart (not an unusual occurrence with cheaper bikes), this is a good one to try. Extremely sturdy and easy to adjust the tension on the fly. My only gripe (and it is a common one with most cycle trainers) is the seat. VERY uncomfortable. Plan to get an after-market gel seat. Otherwise, this is a great bike at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

So far, so good! Obviously you could pay much more for a fancier bike with more options, but this gets the job done well. The wheel does seem slightly wobbly (possibly from shipping), but I think it's forming back into shape a little more the more I use it with resistance on. It doesn't seem to negatively affect my workouts. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive, but sturdy spin bike.

Even though this had fewer reviews, I bought this one because it matched our decor better. I do like the red color.I read the review or answer in the Q&A section that said this should be big enough for a tall person. It is not.I am 5'10" and this is a bit on the small side for me. However, I bought this for my husband and he is 6' 2" and it is way too small for him.It isn't nearly as nice a bike as I have used in spinning class, unfortunately. I am afraid it is going to tip over.Also, I really need new pedals that I can clip into - my feet are unstable in the pedals it comes with, which don't require special biking shoes.On the plus side, there must not have been much assembly required, since my husband unpacked it himself (haha).I would give this a three-star-review if I hadn't been mislead into thinking it would work for tall people.

Great trainer for shorter people. I am only 4'9 and it fits me perfectly at the lowest level. The heavier fly wheel offers plenty or resistance and a great work out. This trainer feels sturdy and was easy to assemble. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some trainers, but for the price it is well worth it.

so far we are liking this product. You need to tighten the bolts and screws really well to make it stable.

Brought this bike for my wife that 5'2" and it fits her perfect, it was very easy to put together. There are no negatives about this bike, but she did buy a seat cushion. Shipment was fast and nothing was broke..very please with my purchase

Great starter bike. Easy to put together.. took me 20 minutes. Nice stable platform for people under 200 pounds. Worth the money.
