This product is necessary in order to cut the crazy quilt die.
The product is supposed to cut 6 layers of fabric. I am barely able to cut three layers. I have to lean on it and almost force it to go all the way through.

Good but longevity?
Matts appear to be of good quality. However, not sure on the longevity. My wife did a project and it appears that even with rotation, the are issues with the cutter not making through the four layers of normal fabric after a while.

A little heavy and awkward to use, but I guess that can't be helped. For the large square ordered with it the die's actual blades would fit a smaller, not so heavy frame as well as mat.
