Sally HansenMega Strength, Rule the World, 0.4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

I had tried this nail polish, liked it, liked the color, but Walmart didn’t have it again. Found it on Amazon, and it was a good price, and it shipped right away. It seems to last longer than other Sally Hanson nail polishes.

Polish seems to stay on for quite a while. Will be ordering more.

Love the color and if you use a top coat your nails last even longer without chipping.

My hands are in nitrile gloves for sometimes up to 2 1/2 hours at a time, and all that heat and humidity were causing the layers of my nails to separate, causing them to split and break (sometimes up to the skin) and making my cuticles hard and would break off and stick up. I tried growing my nails out and give them a good trim after work on Fridays, but they'd be broken and split immediately (already the layers were separated after I would cut them, no matter how short). I needed something drastic, and I'm a guy so I tried vitamins. Didn't solve the issue because it was from being in those gloves for so long (pretty much stripping the natural oils out of the nails). So I tried clear nail polish, and that didn't help at all. Then a coworker suggested nail strengthener (I never knew such a thing existed).I've been using it a little while, my nails stay together and no longer break. It is noticeable because it's clear but glossy (and guys typically don't have shiny nails, but like I said I was desperate and was willing to try anything). It does have a smell, but after a bit it dries and you can only smell it if your fingers get close to your nose for a couple hours. I typically reapply it every other day, and Friday it's sometimes thick enough you can peel it right off.I've thought about getting nail polish remover because when it peels off my nails look a little dull, but I don't need to grow them out anymore and they no longer break and peel! I have noticed after the first layer it's much easier to get air bubbles in it, and being a guy I'm not used to this so an occasional scuff, rough spot, or empty spot from bumping to scraping into something happens, but even then as long as a majority of the nail is covered it protects your nails!

I think it depends on the batch you get. I put on one coat, dried in less than 10 minutes. Same with second coat and top coat. End results were really beautiful looking nails. I took hot baths, washed hair, washed dishes without gloves, and no chipping or peeling. The only reason I took it off this morning after nearly three weeks, is that I broke two nails pulling up weeds. (yes, I was wearing gloves then.) But I literally had no chips or peeling. And amazing it came off with my regular polish remover. So I hope whoever is buying it now gets the batch that my Boss Gloss came from.

For some reason, it will not allow me to upload a picture to my review. However, the color, or the picture advertised is definitely NOT the color of the polish pictured. The polish pictured is more pink and vibrant, which is what I wanted and was expecting. The polish received is more of pale pink and not very opaque. While the color itself is pretty, it's not the color that was advertised. I'm not returning it because it was under $5 and I will most likely use it, but now I'm still looking for something similar to the color I want. A bit disappointed.

Purchased the Sally Hansen Megas Strength clear nail polish as a transition from the No-bite nail polish. I was an avid nail-biter since childhood and what I found out through research and personal experience, applying polish to your nail significantly reduces the habitual nail biting. This is true, it helps. That is why I purchased this nail polish. Based on other purchase reviews of quality, sheerness and strengthening the nail bed- I decided to give it a shot.Yes, the polish is sheer but it doesn't stay on. Within a few hours I noticed it actually lifting from my nail bed. I did not have any type of lotion on hands/nails before hand and did not submerge hands in water afterwards. The polish remover that I used prior to applying this polish is non-acetone and does not contain any softening agents that may of caused the lifting/peeling.I typically use OPI, but like I said I read several reviews and decided to give it a shot.Another negative takeaway is the size of product. The advertised picture misleads one to believe the product is larger- even though under the product details section it clearly states 0.4 oz.Even though it started peeling I didn't remove it right away. Actually I applied another light coat on top and by the next day, the polish that hadn't peeled away had a pale yellow tint to it. I gave the "Easy to remove" 5 stars (sarcasticly) because literally you don't have to do anything for it to remove itself.Basically, waste of money. Will definitely return to what product I know actually works, even though the OPI is 3× the cost of this one.Long story short, you get what you pay for. Buyers beware.

The picture was a neon purple and this ended up being more pink sparkle but still pretty

Pretty color but far more pink than shown in the picture. The polish is very thin and requires 2 or 3 coats.
