Trotters Women's Kat Sandal

I would give this another half star if I had the option.It's hard to find sandals that fit well and are comfortable. Because all three straps on these are adjustable, you can get a perfect fit. The leather is soft, and I got the blue, which is a nice shade that goes with a lot of outfits.I wish the footbed was a little cushier than it is, and that the soles were made of a softer rubber, instead of this hard rubber. Despite those 2 things, I find them comfortable. I don't find them "slippery", like another reviewer mentioned. I wouldn't say these are super-stylish, but they are a nice looking, basic sandal. The round metal embellishments are very detailed, and I like the decorative stitching in the center of the straps.

I am so happy, I ordered this sandal! Although I had doubts until I received them and tried them on. When you try a shoe on and you feel comfort, that's it, these are absolutely wonderful, no breaking in nothing, even because they are open and can be customized with the adjustable straps. I have a wide foot, in the summer they swell with the heat and that has always been a big problem for me, because it's already a big problem to find wide width's, [that are really wide widths] that are also cute. I will most likely order them in a different color if still available in my size. As far as delivery it was quick I ordered on the 26, were delivered on the 31, well packaged and all. I find the price very reasonable, but most of all the convenience of not having go store to store hoping to find WW in my size, and most of the time not finding them.

I didn't do more than try these shoes on and so can't speak to anything but size. - I am a definite 5.5 medium and that is the size I bought. The strap near the toes was too wide. The arch strap fit just right (I have a normal arch) The rear strap (as expected) needed tightening. - I am not keeping them because if I were to get a smaller size it would be tight across the arch. - The straps are fastened by velcro. There is no real room to loosen them, and the velcro doesn't spread far enough to make tightening them work without them looking a little strange. For example, I tightened the ankle strap and the end of of strap stuck out. It's too bad there isn't a way to hold excess strap (when tightening) onto the shoe. Perhaps something like a piece of leather to tuck the strap into.

These sandals are very comfortable and fit fine. I have lots of poblems with my feet yet I am able to wear these all day and still feel great!! I ordered W because I normally need it but probably could've just used the B width instead, especially if they stretch out too much after wearing them a lot. But, on the other hand, they do have 3 velcro straps for adjusting so I suspect they will be fine for quite a while!! So far, so good!! And hoping they last quite a while for the price (I've never paid that much for a pair of everyday sandals!, lol)

planning to buy more. I bought a pair of black and one of white and I'm thinking about buying more pairs. The fit is great. The insole is very comfortable and the three adjustable straps give you lots of options for custom fitting. I apprehensively bought these to replace a discontinues SAS sandal that I'd worn for years when I was teaching school (you never sit down!). Darn, if these sandals aren't better! And for less than half the price! They're not dressy looking, but "dress casual" and casual fit right in. I'm sold.

The arch dug into my foot. I might have needed a wider shoe in this style. I have Diabetic Neropathy and am always looking for a shoe that gives me comfort since I stand for 6 to 7 hours a day. This is not it. Within a couple of hours I was in pain. I had to run home for another shoe. The sole was hard for me. If you have foot problems, this may not be the right shoe, but if you don't have foot problems, this might be comfortable. The reviews I read before I purchased, were good. I can't send them back, because I had to wear them to find out if they were as I hoped.

I'm a 10.5 wide (not very wide, but a normal shoe does NOT fit) and these fit perfectly true to size. I need a sandal I can run around the town in, walking dogs, taking kids to the park, and know it will provide a bit of arch support and lots of foot cushioning, but without looking actually orthopedic! This is seriously comfortable on the sole, and every strap is velcro and adjustable so you can get the best fit.It's cute enough with capris, not exactly sexy but that's not what I wanted, so I'm a very happy customer. I'll be looking at other Trotters shoes (pumps and oxfords) for work now that I know their wide sizes fit true.

Very comfortable and can adjust to the width.Would buy again.
