Okay!
I love reading books by Omar Tyree, but this one was tough to finish because of the writing style and the content. There were too many pages and sentences that were unnecessary (elaborating on colorism, what characters are wearing, the names of the buses and streets the characters took etc.) that did not drive the plot. There were some parts that were funny though and action packed which I appreciated! Long story short, it is no where near as good as some classic favorites like Flyy Girl and Just Say No. Check those out if you haven't! :)

Stay in Your Lane
This was the most 'off of the Beaton Path' book I've ever read by Omar. The language, the characters, the whole story was something that he probably wrote in high school. Go back to your usual writing and save the urban stories for those who actually lived it.

Good read
The way the writer told each character’s story individually but then intertwined all of their lives made this a really interesting read. I’ve always enjoyed every book I’ve read from Mr. Tyree!
