My chew savant of a dog defeated its only weakness
By gnawing on one spot on top of the duck's head my dog was able to tear apart the stitches. She only had it for 15 minutes and already it is torn open, the straw fill scattered about. Let it be known that my dog is Ozymandias, destroyer of toys. Fortunately, the body of the duck is of dense pliable strands of rope. That will most certainly deflect any pinch and shred tactics. It's worth the money for a crinkle toy built rugged yet possesses the flexibility to deflect bite force. Unfortunately, after I lopped off the head and sewed the remaining flaps to an impenetrable knot my dog has lost all interest in it.

Grand-puppy’s favorite toy
I had purchased this a couple of years ago. My grand-puppy carried it everywhere and played with it. She finally wore it out. So I just had to get another one. My son said she was over the moon when it arrived.

Head was gone within an hour
Head was chewed off within the hour. The ropes held up for a week or two though after slowly getting torn apart. The dog did like the toy he just destroys them all. Probably perfect and durable toy for any dog who doesn't destroy every toy in a day.

Brown (paper?) shredding in head
Super attractive, like the materials, however, my 6 mo. Husky had the stuffing outta the head in literally 10”.. thank god the body of the duck is a plastic bottle! He loves the toy. Would be best as a toss & retrieve toy..Have yet to see what happens to the body…Update:Not certain it is a plastic bottle in body as thought, however, it IS plastic and came out in very small pieces. I bought two of these cuz so darn cute, but thought would last longer. Not certain I will give my pup the second one (until much older & chewing subsides considerably).

Great choice for Moderate Chewers
So the crinkle factor is key with this toy. If you have a dog that likes water bottles or something else that crinkles. They will love this type of toy. Remember it is a rope covering. So if your' dog will rip up a kong. This is not for them.

Terrible durability for an expensive toy
I bought this toy for my small/medium dog because her breed is a duck dog and I thought this was so cute. I never ever spend this much money on dog toys, but given that it was made of (what I thought was durable) rope, I thought it would last for the long haul so I splurged. I regretted it in the first 30 minutes. My dog is not a chewer. My dog is not an agressive tugger. We played fetch for about 30 minutes and the rope started unraveling and once it starts coming apart, it doesn’t stop. At this point, we’ve just tried to tie it back together so it doesn’t come apart any further, but I think it’s also only a (short) matter of time before the head would come off too. I’ll be contacting the seller to ask for a replacement. My dog has $5 toys from 6 months ago that she plays with every day that are still in better shape than this was after 30 minutes.

Durable and apparently fun
Love the all natural materials. My GSP destroys the head within minutes and rips the bottle from the bird’s guts shortly thereafter, but the rope part lasts forever and provides hours of apparently highly satisfying ripping and tearing.

Good solid value
Our Labradors Love to play tug-of-war with these. No, they don’t last forever but they are quite durable considering the forces they are submitted to.
