The elbow patch was sewn properly on one arm, but sewn on the wrong side on the other arm. See pic.

Knowing Chinese sizes I ordered an XL of this shawl. I’m typically a size M to L in US women’s. My measurements are around 36’ (chest) 32’ (waist) 38’ (hips). I’m 5’6, but I do have a long torso (which can make it difficult to find things that fit me in length). Chinese sizes are always hard to determine. I’d say go at least 2 sizes larger with this cardigan and you’ll be fine. As a size M/L, the XL fits me okay.I have long arms, so the sleeves are a bit short- but it’s nothing that makes the cardigan look bad. It just looks like that’s how it was made. It’s actually fairly long and does go down about 3 inches beyond my hip-bone (which is where most shawl-style sweaters end). Because it’s a little small around the arms, it is a little tight around my shoulder area, but after a couple days of wearing, I’m sure that will loosen up.The quality of the cardigan is actually very impressive. It looks exactly as pictured with thick black and white horizontal stripes and leather circle patches on the elbows. It’s very cute and I’ve always been complimented on it when I wear it out. This is a shawl-style sweater so it does not close in the front, it merely hangs open. It has a very flowy appearance to it and is very flattering to my average female body type. I could see this looking good on both thinner and curvier women as well.The quality of the fabric is average. It’s not the most luxurious fabric on the market, but it’s certainly not uncomfortable to wear. It’s a medium-weight cardigan that’s perfect for autumn or later winter. It seems well-sewn. I’ve worn it three times so far and it hasn’t burst at the seams yet. It is machine washable, but cannot be dried (because of the leather patches). You need to hang it up to dry. This isn’t a huge deal, but it is something that makes it a bit of an inconvenient item to wear. With that being said, the black ink did not bleed into the white when I washed it. I did not put it on a regular cycle, I put it on a delicate wash.I was offered this sweater for free in exchange for an unbiased review. It’s very much so my style, but it’s not something that I’d usually see myself purchasing. I do highly suggest ordering two sizes larger than your typical size, as these do run small. It’s a great shawl in length, but can get a bit tight around the arms. If you have longer arms, the sleeves may run a bit short. Other than that though, this cardigan is pretty good quality for the price. It’s well sewn, made of comfy material, and very cute. I’m glad I got it and I will continue to wear it often.

GREAT sweater, but for sure Not U.S. sizing, go a size or 2 up. I normally wear a medium or large and went with the XL, which ended up being the perfect size. I even washed and dried it. It's really stylish and comfortable. Great fall wardrobe piece.

I ordered three of these: two for different friends and one for myself. I ordered one size up for each of us and all three fit perfectly, with ordering one size up. I normally like a large and so does my friend, although we're both relatively small girls, we just don't like a tight fit. My other friend wears a small or extra small, I got her a medium and it was a little tight on her. It's as long as you would expect it to be, based on the size you order. The sleeves are a little tight but not unbearable at all. The only issue is that the patches are definitely not at the elbow; on all three they were a little high and to the right. It didn't matter too much, though, meaning it's not enough of a problem to void this shawl.It's been great to just throw on around the house or just wear out. It's a nice, simple but cute garment. I would recommend this but just make sure you get one size up. The price is right, too. I paid $16 and that's well priced for what it is. The material is a little thin but not so much that it makes a negative difference.

To sum it up - the sweater is nice but it’s a bit deceiving. Thought it was more sweater-like but the material is really more spandexy/polyester-ish and it’s semi-stretchy (emphasis on the semi).My specs: 5’2 - 125 lbs - 32DD bustPros: it IS cute (nothing negative that I will say has deterred me from wearing it) - the colors are nice - it washes well and hang dries nicely - the length is good - goes with a lot of things because the colors are white/gray/tan(brown) - it’s comfy and classy - can wear with a lot of things like leggings/jeans/skirt, it’s pretty versatileCons: arms are tight, I ordered a small and I am typically in a small for 90% of the things I buy but for this I would say SIZE UP if you don’t have slim arms! - I also feel a little mislead by the material (as noted above), I thought it was more sweater-like and it’s not, this would not keep you warm, but it will keep your arms covered on a cool summer night - also, the patches are a bit off so when I wear it, I have to maneuver the seem to be off center so the elbow patches are in the right spot ... Overall, with some minor adjustments, the manufacturer could have a really great product. I purchased a medium based on other reviews and am glad I did. I am usually an XS and the M fit just how I like. Soft, stretchy material. Looks great!

I've been eyeing this cardigan for a while but was disappointed. After reading reviews, I sized up but probably shouldn't have. (I am normally a size 16, 38DD and ordered an XXL but it was much bigger than I expected.) Despite the size, though, it wasn't as long as pictured. It also came with one of the seams ripped - the quality is pretty low. I expected it to feel more cottony than it did. Also "black" is really not accurate - it's definitely gray. A lot cuter on the model than in real life.
