Incredible, Inspirational, and Life-Changing!
Can't Hurt Me: Master Your Mind and Defy the Odds by David Goggins is hands down one of the most impactful books I’ve ever read. This book is not just about Goggins’ journey—it’s a powerful blueprint for anyone looking to push beyond their limits, overcome adversity, and achieve things they once thought impossible.Goggins' raw honesty, relentless drive, and unique perspective on mental toughness are truly inspiring. He doesn’t just tell you his story—he challenges you to look inward, face your fears, and step out of your comfort zone. His journey from a difficult childhood to becoming a Navy SEAL and ultra-endurance athlete is nothing short of extraordinary. What makes this book stand out is its no-nonsense approach. Goggins doesn’t sugarcoat anything. His words are direct, and at times, brutally honest, but they pack a punch and motivate you to keep going, even when things get tough. He shares not only his triumphs but his failures, giving the book a sense of authenticity that really resonates. The “Accountability Mirror” exercise and other actionable steps in the book give you the tools to build mental resilience and take control of your life. I’ve found myself coming back to this book whenever I need a boost of motivation or a reminder to push through challenges. If you're looking for inspiration and want to transform your mindset, Can't Hurt Me is a must-read. It’s more than just a memoir—it’s a wake-up call for anyone ready to level up and defy the odds.

conquer your fears, limitation and your mind
one of the best books that I have read and listened to.the book speaks for itself, and everyone who managed to read the book, listened to audio, and read the reviews can speak for the wisdom and enthusiasm this book and the mental attitude David G instilled in the readers of this book.I have to say, it is hard for anyone to try to emulate what DG did and showed in this book, given his unique upbringing and the degree of family dysfunction he was exposed to in his life, which I think have contributed to what he ended up accomplishing later in life. However, I believe what he achieved throughout his life some of that was highlighted in his book, just an indication how much the human mind is capable of and can achieve, if it is directed in the right productive direction and not surprising after that the body will oblige !what I liked about the book is that you feel that when there is a will there is a way, even when he didnt know how to blend in the community around him, his mind suggested for him to change how he dresses, how he looks to try to fit in the community at that time, until he had the wake up call, that he had to changeand change he did !! to try to push himself to no end, as if there is no limit, not even the skies ! I believe he stopped believing in anything other than he do and achieve anything and everything if he was persistent and patient and kept pushing himself to achieve that goal, whether it was enlisting as a Navy SEAL or running ultra marathoons, or holding the highest number of pull ups, he was up to the challenge.I also had the chance to read the book ( Living with a SEAL for Jesse Itzler ) who described his experience living with DG for 30 days and the impact that had not only on his life, but his family life as well.the book is a great read for anyone who thinks that they have been in a rut for quite sometime, and also for the one who thinks that they need some shake up or wake up call to straighten their lives.Furthermore, I truly believe this book also can be helpful for anyone who is feeling down and could use a lift , who is tired and cant get off their couch, who dread doing the regular chores ...for me, I felt the book gave me the right push to keep grinding, and motivated me at times I felt I cant go further . by no means, I strive to become anything close to what DG did, but it is quite inspiring to see how a fellow human being like DG managed to make the best of his life experience and shaped it in a way this is quite inspiring to many humans across the globe !

Changed my life, about half a year later.
David Goggins had been an inspirational figure in my life, and I knew he had a book. I usually don’t read self motivation books, but if I do get into self motivation things, I just go into the surface level reading quotes, watching YouTube videos, etc. but this book I gave it a fair shot and it starts off with his life as a child. Then his trials that shaped and molded him. It gives you practical things to do “NOW” which you should follow along as you read the book.Challenges. Deep down inside, we know what we have to do. We just don’t want to do it. We don’t want to always have to cook healthy meals, and skip out on junk food. We don’t want to always do the chores before parents ask us to, or study instead of going to a party. This book isn’t about being David goggins, it’s about how to be you need to be in order to be the pillar for your family and yourself.I struggled a lot with many things in life, and as a former college student who hated where he was going, and did not think he’d enjoy what he was doing as he just went to college by the pressure of people around him, this book was a godsend to me.I went to a river and read this book, steadily. Hiked up a mountain and read it. Applied the advice, and now, I am fixing to run my first half marathon, no walking. Going from a fat lazy bum! To someone who’s training to join the Air Force and be exceptional. For me. For her. For God.Look deep into the depths. Find that 1% that makes me go ahead like David Goggins. Don’t talk about it, be about it! I highly recommend this book once you are ready to make that change. David Goggins has a belief in this: what are you willing to give? If the answer isn’t “everything” then get out! But if it’s everything, then we are working with something.David Goggins, despite having so many health issues, every reason in the book to give up and remain the 300 pound cockroach exterminator who hated his life, became the hero he is today to so many people, including myself.Alongside this book, I went from 168 pounds, unhappy, not knowing where to go, and not wanting to try to find out how to find direction to 140 pounds, stronger than I have ever been mentally and physically, and on the track to success. Make it happen.Overall, this book is a worthy purchase if you are willing to make a change in your life. That change will not invite comfort. What are you willing to give?
