Sargent Art (SARAD) Tempera Paint Sticks, Assorted 24 Piece

This is the second set of Sargent Art Paint Sticks that I have purchased. My niece uses paint sticks in the early childhood school and I thought they would work nicely with my 88 year old mother with dementia and diminishing vision. She is able to make bold marks on her art paper that she is able to see somewhat. She was a fine artist and loves the physical movement and feeling of applying marks on art paper, the bold colors and being able to create art. Watercolors are hard to see and difficult for her to load the brush with water and color. Crayons don’t make such bold marks. The paint dries quickly and I’d say her only complaint is that she cannot scrape color off or smudge the paint with her fingers. Highly recommend for senior memory care art activities.

We absolutely love this brand of paint sticks. We buy them over and over because of how beautiful and vibrant the colors are. My kids (now 4 and 6 years old) have been using them for 2 years and the things my 6 year old has progressed into making are amazing!!! Super gram worthy! Even my 4 year old boy loves to spend time with them because they are so easy to hold and glide so easily. We all enjoy art in this house and these are so enjoyable to use. It’s also my go to gift for others/birthday parties! Everyone is always happy with them. Thanks for creating a wonderful product.

These are a great paint alternative. My niece who is just under two, loves to color with these, and they a delightfully easy to clean. They were so nice that her mother ended up buying a pack for their house. The colors are vibrant and the sticks feel silky smooth when you draw with them. The case has been sturdy and works to keep everything organized.

These are so easy for my 3 year old to use, much less messy than normal paints, and paints wash off with water. We loved them so much at my sister's house, I bought some for my daughter and some of my friends kids.

I love these things and wish they came in more colors. I used them while teaching at summer camp and got them to experiment. They are so much fun to use.

Are they markers? Are they crayons? Who knows what they are, just that they are fun to use and easy to clean. You would assume that something called "Tempera Paint Sticks" would be a recipe for disaster. They are anything but. Blendable and a joy to use. They don't make a mess and dry almost instantaneously. Did I say they are a joy to use? They really are. It's hard to explain, but when you try them you will know!

I bought these for my daughter’s class to do an art project. I did not know exactly what I was ordering, so I was a little nervous, but they were just what I needed it! They are very thick, the drawing part is about the size of sidewalk chalk. So they’re not great for small projects or for staying in the lines. But to color a big area and really get some vibrant color, these are perfect! I am very glad I found these! Very pleased with this purchase!

My granddaughter loves these. We used them at my preschool and loved them there too. Looks like paint but dries and is a lot less messy.
