I've been using Gain detergent for years because I love the fresh scent, but this Eco-Box packaging has made laundry even more convenient. Instead of lifting a heavy plastic jug every time I do laundry, the built-in spout makes it easy to dispense the detergent directly into the measuring cup with very little mess or dripping. The detergent itself cleans just as well as the traditional bottle. It leaves clothes smelling fresh, removes everyday dirt and stains, and works great in my HE washing machine. Even heavily worn clothes, towels, and my family's everyday laundry come out clean with that signature Gain scent that lasts long after washing. Another thing I appreciate is that the box takes up less space in my laundry room and is much easier to store than the bulky bottles. Since it's ultra-concentrated, a little goes a long way, and the Eco-Box lasts quite a while before needing to be replaced. Had I been warned about the pressure of the liquid coming out when I first used this, I would have been prepared. But I wasn’t, and so, a lot of detergent came out too fast, and ended up everywhere. It was a mess. I love the idea of less packaging, but wonder if the inner bag will drain completely or will I need to cut it open and wash it to recycle with a store’s shopping bags. The lid can be recycled, but from what I’ve heard, it won’t be, that all plastic bottles end up in landfills. I love the scent and the job of cleaning that it does. Gain and its bigger name sibling are always my go-to detergent because of their cleansing power. This was a good package deal that should last the three of us a good while.

I love Gain Detergent because my son loves the scent and the clean feeling of his clothes. We are both allergic to a lot of perfumed laundry detergent but this yr my son decided to try it. He moved out to find out. Now that he lives in the mountains he wants to test everything he was allergic to in the city. He has been using "Gain Detergent" since January, 2020, and no itching or rashes. I don't know if it was the environment or his life style change. We both stayed in the house for over a decade. I stayed in for medical reasons and he stayed in for anxiety & safety reasons. Hearing gun shots, police sirens, fire engines, grown men & woman fighting over juvenile situations in public is not called for. Anyways our little city has now turned into a city of misfits, undocumented citizens, people who don't speak English, and alot of respect has lost our cities reasons for living here. What does this have to do with " Gain Detergent"! Our bodies react to stresses, pollution, and the way your brain controls your body responses. My son live 20 miles into the woods and he is 😌 relaxed, ☺ happy, love's his new life and neighbors. We both have similar diagnosis, especially " the panic anxiety disorder"! I just want "Gain Detergent" to know they are #1, and #2 is another famous brand, red, lol. Gain you might smell awesome but people with allergies cannot use you. I will continue to buy your products for others but don't forget you can't please everyone ( the allergy people). I guess that's it, I have to move 😉. Good value for the money, the eco friendly box makes it better for recycling. When doing any size loads, only fill to the first line for any washer, this stuff is pretty concentrated and has a lovely scent and good cleaning power.

Love the new packaging - reduction of unnecessary and non bio-degradable plastic. It is truly concentrated, a regular load is done with less than half the measuring cup of liquid. The only thing I would say is that if you can reduce the speed of liquid coming out when you open the little tap would be great as there is no way to pour back the access amount into the box. I barely moved the tap and the measuring cup was full. I used about half for a regular load, had to cover the rest in the cup with aluminum foil and use it for handwashing my delicates.
