I bought these Noontec Hammos to replace a pair of Beats Solos that sounded muddy and distant to me. Based on the reviews, it seemed the Hammos would have a more nuetral/flat sound (which is my preference). Unfortunately, the Hammos sound very similar to the Solos. When I used an equalizer to reduce the bass or increase the treble, both headphones sounded better to me. However, I don't want to use an equalizer.The build quality is good, but not as solid as the Solos. On a positive note, the Hammos are one of the most comfortable headphones I've worn.After searching online, I found a forum where some Hammos users said there was a sticker underneath the ear pads (which muffled the sound). After looking, there was no sticker.I contacted Noontec customer support to see if there was a problem with the Hammos. They said some older units did incorrectly have a sticker over the driver, but my units did not. They said there is a large degree of personal preference in sounds.Unfortunately, I've had to return these headphones because I don't like the sound.

The Hammo is not so great. It might be surprising since the Zoro is an outstanding on-ear headphone, but given that the Rio ear-buds are pretty crappy, I can see how the Hammos can be shoddy. The highs are very muted with poor definition. The mids are okay, but the bass is a little too much for my taste. They actually sound very Beats-like. If that's what you're looking for in an over-the-ear headphone, then go for it, but I was hoping to have the Zoro sound characteristics in an over-the-ear design, and this is NOT it.Fit and finish is very nice, although I wish the cable had volume controls instead of just single buttom plus mic.

The sound quality is good and the headphones are comfortable. I have an issue with the design of how the cord is attached to the headphone (it detaches). I've had the headphones for three months and lost the cord three times. The replacement cords I purchased dont fit well in the headphones and I have not been able to find replacement cables sold by noontec online.

Checked for the stickers behind the ear pads and found none. I don't think they were defective in anyway but the sound quality was equal to a $5 pair from the dollar store. Build quality was as described. Really disappointed in the sound though I have a pair of Zorro's and they sound great. With the good reviews and the Zorro's I thought it would be a sure thing but that wasn't the case. I can't explain why these sounded so poor but if I wanted a pair that sounded like these I would've saved some time and picked up the $5 pair.

I have been using ear buds for years, so this product sounds really different to me. I can distinguish tones and sounds that before blended into other sounds. The left and right channels also sound more clearly different. These phones are also very comfortable. I have big ears and they fit perfectly. My ears do get a little sweaty inside however, I have to air them out periodically. These do cancel out sound if you want them to. Just crank up the sound a little and you wont hear anything. I can't compare them to beats as I have never tried them. The noontec use the same red mic cord as beats. Very sturdy, comfortable and high end sound is found in this product. It's all I could ask for at a reasonable price.

Great sound quality but poor durability. I bought these in January and use them about three days each week when I run. About two weeks ago, the vinyl cover on the headband started to come off of the headband, exposing the foam underneath. This is just poor quality workmanship. I definitely would not purchase these again. I'm going back to Bose. I've never had any problems with their products. Sure, they cost more, but at least I know what I'm getting.

I've had these for a few days and really like the quality. Of course the sound varies with every movie or sound track, because the sound is only as good as what is available. I use them with my iPad 3. Once in awhile the sound will cut out on one earpiece, but a slight twist of the connecter remedies that. They are sturdy and attractive. The case is beautiful. So far no complaints.

When I first got these I was disappointed. The mids and highs were muffled while the bass was there. I was all set to return these. However I found a user post saying that there might be stickers covering a good portion of the speakers. I carefully popped off the ear cushions. Low and behold I found 2 black stickers covering the entire mid and high range on both sides. 5 minutes later.... without the stickers....They sounded awesome. Not quite as good in terms of sound quality as my grado sr80s. But more comfortable and can be worn for long periods of time easily (3 or 4 hours) Highly recommend these.
