Great Quality with Klein tools.
(EDIT: Replacement screws were sent to me) I was recommended this item by a friend. Going to be cutting down about 13 or so Trees on my property. The only reason I give this a 4 star and not a 5 star is due to missing screws that usually come with this product. They are solid and durable, (having used my friends pair when he was recommending these to me, and he has had them for 3 years now?), and they grip the trees with ease. Again I would recommend these to anyone, only reason I don't give it the 5 star is due to missing items, will update rating once I get a hold of customer support.

Some assembly but good quality I wouldnโt skimp on your spurs so good buy
They make cheaper spurs out there but your life depends on these. These are good quality and were cheaper than I saw other places. Some assemble but a quality product

Good enough, maybe not the best made
These are good enough. They arenโt as fancy as some others but theyโll get the job done. I very much disliked the shin pads that these came with and changed those after 1 climb. If I did it again Iโd have saved longer and bought another โBโ brandโs aluminum tree gaffs. But, with Klein upgraded hyrdacool pads these work well enough and are far more comfortable. I plan to upgrade the foot straps too. Theses are durable but Velcro would be nicer and easier on the ankles. For me, 8โ boots are minimum and I try to climb in my 10โ tall whites as anything shorter than 8โ the straps rub my ankles raw after a few hours spiking around trees.

Well built
They are very well built and feel very secure. I gave 3 stars for comfort because like any tree spike they are not the most comfortable but as far as tree spikes go they are as comfortable as they can be I guess. Iโve used these on several different kinds of trees and they performed well on all of them.

Great climbing spurs !
Love these spurs ! Iโve climbed different trees , soft bark , thick bark , slick bark , it doesnโt matter the tree , these things bite in and stay ! Only discomfort is at the top against the knee . Other than that , theyโre perfect for what I do ! GREAT product , would definitely recommend to anyone , and would for sure but again !

Like em
Worth the upgrade if you are using some cheaper crap, but do not want to speed a ton... a SUPER improvement over what i was using, POLE Gaffs on Trees... is a recipe for death.... so getting used to the Klein TREE gaffs, and the more i use the the Happier I am that i bought them... if I used them as a full time thing and not a dude with land and trees that need surgical trimming... then I would spend the hundreds more, but for the occasional project and up keep... worth every penny... and who is not a fan of leather, BALL GAG ME... please

Parts missing
Some parts missing and they want to charge me to send back. Easier to just buy the parts. Really disappointing with how expensive of a item it is though

Great for tree work
Takes a bit to get the hang of using them, but great product, they dig in so no slipping. Biggest obstacle was me.

Overal good quality
The screws to assemble and adjust the upper and lower part are to light and it is very hard to tighten them, otherwise overal quality very good.

Poor tech support.
By the look of the hardware, these climbers should do the job but so far untried. The screws that attach the extension pieces don't fasten. I called tech support four times over two weeks and was told each time someone would get back to me by end of day. Still waiting.
