Great drain tank valve, don't try to use it on a pressurized line
Pretty simple replacement device that works great. For my installation, it was as simple as unscrewing the old drain valve and screwing this one in its place. No tape dope and don't over tighten. I also had to cut the 3/8" nub off since my tank had a 1/2" connection. When I did this, I first opened the valve all the way, then I placed the 3/8"threads in the rubber jaws of my vise. Be gentle with it. I then sawed it off so that the shavings would fall down and not into the valve. I then blew reverse through the valve just to make sure there were no shavings and I also inspected it before turning it the first time. For all of the negative reviews stating that this product leaked from the valve, not the threads, I think at least some of those people got plastic shavings in the valve when they cut off the 3/8" nub and then turned the valve and lodged shavings in between the plastic, thus causing a leak. Also, this is NOT FOR A PRESSURIZED LINE. This is a drain tank valve. Don't attached it to a pressurized line and then complain that the product sucks.

Not quite 2 years old and already leaking
Sigh... Purchased May 2018. Very lightly used; two trips since then and already dripping out of the valve. It's not so much the money, it's a pain to remove/install the drain valve on the trailer.EDIT July 2021: On a hunch, I applied some silicone faucet grease to the interior of the valve. This seems to have completely stopped the slow drip from the valve.I first applied the grease to the end of a q-tip. Then inserted it into the closed valve such that the blob of grease would go through the hole in the valve's rotating internal cylinder, and get smeared on the fixed outer cylinder. Then operated the valve a few times to spread it around. Be sure to use silicone faucet grease (aka plumber's grease) that's safe for potable water systems.Changing from 2 to 4 stars.

This was a perfect fit to my RV white tank
This was a perfect replacement for the drain in my RV white tank.

Two size feature is a problem in two ways.
Rather than make two different sizes Camco chose to combine the two. I needed the larger diameter and the smaller section prevented it from screwing all the the way into my tank. Even if it had screwed in the end would protrude up into the tank thereby preventing complete draining. I had to hack saw the small part off and try to file the end to seat into the tank. I will replace with the factory single size when I can find one.

Solid valve, fits perfectly in my water holding RV tank.
Needed a shut off valve replacement for my RV water holding tank. This simply screws into the existing fitting. Installed in seconds. Holds tight. Well made.

Simple, inexpensive and works well
I needed a 3/8 in male pipe thread valve with a nut to secure it as a bulkhead fitting. Dual 3/8 and 1/2" threads on valve worked great

Terrible!!!
Typical camco hardware. They develop a drain valve but guess what? Hard plastic on hard plastic and no o-rings. Not sure if they realize that water will seep out the drain and drip....unless you have something like an o-rings to stop it from you know, leaking. Even other plastic fittings have some type of o-ring for sealing.Would not recommend, highly disappointed.
