I’m so pleasantly surprised with this cart. This is a real piece of furniture and not some crap particle board. Its real wood and real granite on durable casters. It’s functional, it’s beautiful, it’s a good price for the quality, especially considering it’s a heavy item to ship. I was able to assemble it myself in no time. I’m happy.

Arrived intact. The finish was perfect. Granite perfect, no chips or scratches. My husband is a skilled custom carpenter and was able to assemble the piece for a client, in less than an hour. There were a couple of left over “mystery pieces” which didn’t impair safety or function. I saw it in person and it’s a really well-made, beautiful piece! Price would be double or more, if custom made or purchased from a cabinet supplier.Highly recommend!

I like this island enough space for pots and if you would like to storage dishes too. Love it !!

The final product is excellent, but getting the drawers built correctly meant ignoring the instructions. The diagrams are too small, and the text is too sparse, to make the point: the rollers on the drawer runners go to the rear. Also, in the diagrams, several arrows for tightening bolts point the wrong way. 4.8 stars,

The cabinet was fairly easy to put together. It looks great. Very sturdy. Exactly what I was looking for.

The two top drawers are not deep and can’t put much in them. I like that underneath you can change the height of the shelves and I love the granite top

I am amending this review. While the product is excellent, the customer service by both Amazon and the seller is terrible. When I was looking at similar items on Amazon I saw the same item for about $600 less. When I checked my order and drilled down on the item IN MY ORDER I find that my item is indeed $600 less. Since Amazon and the seller have no price match guarantee (in this case Amazon refuses to match its own price), the only way to get the price difference is to disassemble the item which takes about 4 hours to assemble and ship it back and reorder at the updated price and then assemble it all over again. I have been an Amazon customer for about 20 years and I guess Jeff Bezos needs my husband’s pension money more than we do.Original review: You’ll have a beautiful and sturdy cabinet when you finish assembly which is not too difficult. The thorough instructions are concise and clear and step by step. The only problems which are why we deducted a star are that there are a lot of dowel pegs that fit in pre-drilled holes. Some are in conjunction with head cap bolts and some stand alone to position a part. The dowel peg hole in the front rail (I) to fix the position of the drawer divider (M) was not drilled in my unit. I had to guestimate the position and drill it. Also, the recessed part of of the holes in the drawer fronts (N1) that the machine screws fit into are not drilled deep enough for the length of the screws (there is not enough threading to grab the drawer handle). You find that after the drawers are assembled and in order to deepen (drill) the hole recesses you’ll need to disassemble the drawers and start over. You could go to the hardware store and get a slightly longer machine screw. The last issue is that the granite top must be for multiple units as it comes with extra parts (two wood support brackets and a bag of head cap bolts). There is an instruction sheet that says to follow the cabinet assembly instructions where you won’t find any mention of the support brackets or extra screws. These are just confusing annoyances and as I said the result is a beautiful sturdy cabinet. I didn’t see any mention of these problems in the other reviews here so maybe I’m just too critical. BTW when I tried to call the two 800 numbers I wound up in the “cyber dead zone” for 10 minutes until I gave up so I guess lack of phone assistance is also a problem.

For this price I was really keeping my expectations low despite all the good reviews, but I am really really happy. This is made of mostly solid wood (I’m sure it’s actually some type of particle board but it FEELS like solid wood) and was straightforward to put together. The only part you really HAVE to have a helper for is putting on the back, and you could probably do that yourself if you got creative. I really love the way this looks and I am hopeful it will last for quite a few years before I need something else.
