Good antenna if you move around in frequency a lot.
A decent antenna for both bands this antenna exhibits a near 1:1 SWR at 146.23 MHz and <1.5:1 from 144 to 147. Well-constructed and easy to install. If you plan single-frequency operation, an antenna that can be trimmed could be a better choice, but for general use this is a good compromise.

Best 2 Meter / 70 CM Antenna - not only for the low amount of money - but for ANY amount of money of all antennas with similar radiating element types.I have spent a LOT more and have received a LOT less than I got with this antenna.

Great for the price
Now that I've had an opportunity to use it, I find this antenna a great buy. It favorably compares with my homemade J pole.It's months later and I am buying another one. Good antenna.

quality construction and made to last
Very nice, quality construction and made to last. I put this up on a pole around 35' and can hit repeaters 25-30 miles from the house with my Beofeng 5 watt!
