Bosu Pro NexGen 25IN Home Fitness Exercise Gym Balance Trainer with Pump

The first one I ordered didn’t hold air. It was flat by morning, every time we re-inflated it. Amazon was great about the return. I debated whether to order a replacement or get a refund, worried that the new design was faulty. I went with a replacement and am GLAD I did! The new one arrived 2 days after the old one was returned and we’ve had it a week with no re-inflation required.PROS - The ridges make this stable to stand on.I’ve been collecting YOUTUBE videos for BOSU workouts. Originally, we bought this for balance as we are getting up there in years and have no interest in going to rehab with a broken anything. Balance does decline with age. It is GREAT for balance. You can create more challenge by flipping it upside down, for a rock-n-roll surface. pretty sure this won’t be happening here, as the dome top is challenging enough!I was surprised as the versatility of the BOSU. It is great for:1) Balance2). Ab work3). Leg work4) Booty5). Heart health/high intensity workoutMy personal favorites are PILATES with the BOSU. It is (almost) fun, or in the least, inspires me to do a great workout.Really, it combines the benefits of so many different pieces of equipment in one exercise piece.We used a bicycle tire inflator, as the thingy that came with was subpar. Also, the first time my husband tried to inflate, the mouth fell out loose and had to be retrieved with tweezers, but all is well. Just watch out for that.CONS - I have to put a blanket or towel over it when standing barefoot or putting my hands or body on it, because the ridges are hard and uncomfortable to bare skin or yoga pants. The towel solves the problemUse extreme caution when flipping upside down and trying to stand on it, as it is REALLY hard, and I am cautious about breaking bones from a fall. I used a long dowel to counter balance, but still found it too hard.I am super glad I purchased, and happy I went with the New Generation model, as it wasn’t much more than the older model and really is MUCH improved in durability and quality. Great home workout gadget.

I wanted one like they have in gym and this was it. I found it difficult to air up, the pump could have been better. But the product is gym quality and good value. It’s a little heavier and larger and not support portable but can easily move around my room. The surface isn’t slick but not super grippy either. Wear shoes when using.

I recently expanded my home gym, and I am very happy that I added this Bosu balance trainer to my collection! I have always enjoyed using Bosu balance trainers at the gym, and it is just as enjoyable to use at home. It is very quick and easy to setup, and it is pretty easy to store to keep it out of the way. It provides for a very good variety of challenging exercises, and I have found it very useful to help stabilize and strengthen my muscles as I continue with physical therapy for my knee. The extra grip on the ball and the patterns splitting the ball into quarters was a really great addition, and it makes it a lot easier for me to make sure that I am using the correct portion of the ball during every exercise. For anybody looking to add some variety and challenge to their workouts, I would highly recommend this Bosu balance trainer!

This arrived in a previously opened box. It had missing and broken parts. I contacted BOSU, and they send me replacement parts immediately. Great customer service. I use it for rehab before & after knee surgery. I am very pleased with the quality, functionality and durability while balance training. This is grippier than standard BOSU ball, which makes is easier for me to balance and not slip.

I love the BOSU ball, it is high quality, some are not. It's a great addition to my exercise routine. I am 66 years old and it's great for maintaining balance.

It arrived in a beat up box that was double triple taped over. The pump was missing in the box. I am pretty sure that a returned item was shipped to me without a quality check. Not able to review on the performance because I have no way to inflate it! I reached out to the Customer service. They told me to order a compatible pump. What a disappointment, Bosu.

Personally, I find the 65cm Bosu Balance Trainer to be my favorite piece of sports training equipment. I have used them for several years at my local YMCA, and find them indispensable. My favorite sporting activity is roller skating, and the dynamic strength and balance training provided by this piece of equipment is unparalleled, and gives me the confidence to skate to my heart’s content. In fact, I like them so much, that several months ago I personally purchased two of the Original models and donated them to my local YMCA.With the closure of my gym due to Covid-19, I knew I needed to buy my own Bosu Ball Trainer. This time I decided to splurge just a bit, and I bought the Bosu Pro NexGen 65cm Balance Trainer. I love it. This model does not have any of the rubber base-feet which tend to come off and get lost. To compensate, the base material on this model seems to have a better non-skid material. I also like the surface texture redesign on this model, over the Original.My only complaint relates to the air filling port. I have access to an air compressor, which makes filling pretty easy. The supplied pump, however, proved less than ideal. I also had difficulties inserting and removing the air filler plug. If future models could solve the air filling difficulties, then this would be a near perfect piece of training equipment. A tire type, valve stem air filling port, which would allow for the use of a basic tire pump, would be one possible suggestion I would offer in the pursuit of exercise nirvana.

I had to undergo physical therapy for a lower leg/back injury and discovered the BOSU ball as it was used in my rehab. I ended up buying my own as my PT sessions were ending and wanted to continue using. The BOSU ball is easy to unpack, inflate and begin using. Because I am an older man I want to continue to work on balance and strength. This ball is heavy duty and impossible to wear out. It provides the best balance training you could ever want and increases ankle strength and stability. You can turn upside down and use the flat surface for more demanding balance workouts. It is simply the best. It may cost more than other balance exercise equipment but it is well worth it.

商品到着時から、この部分だけ何故か隙間があった。ただ空気を入れてみると、空気の抜けはなかったので、少し隙間が出来たりする仕様だと思い1カ月ほど使用。案の定、この隙間があった部分のチューブ部分から穴があき、空気が抜けるようになった。

I have always wanted the BOSU balance trainer cause I heard and seen so many good reviews on it. Am looking forward to taking my workouts to a whole new level. Thanks BOSU!

This is a good quality Bosu ball. I've worked out with it several times now; it has good grip for sweaty hands and feet while exercising. I've only used it for low impact and fairly basic barefoot routines, still have to try it with running shoes on but it's a balance challenge no matter your footwear so keep your eyes on the Bosu ball while you're working with it to stay safe. It's nice and heavy enough to make overhead lifts and burpee type combo moves challenging. I'm happy with it overall. It's pricey but I'm happy I chose to go with this Bosu ball rather than a cheaper model. It's well ridged and as stable as I believe a Bosu ball could be (keeping in mind it's meant to be a balance challenge so always watch your footing when you're working with it!)I didn't receive any DVDs with this purchase and didn't notice any d/l information of routines to follow from the manufacturer but there are plenty of good exercise routines on YouTube to follow. Choose a beginner routine for your first time until you feel more comfortable with the Bosu for sure.The ball was relatively easy to inflate; the pump that comes with it is cheap but does the job. Would be helpful if the ball came with an extra plug or two and a plug pull as well. Those are pretty cheap but very helpful items for the manufacturer to consider including as part of the package in the future. Again, I found YouTube videos helpful with advice on how to fill the ball when you first get it.Overall, a good purchase and I'm pleased with the quality and usability of this product.
