JanSport City View Backpack

My daughter loves this backpack. These backpacks still have the same quality as they did 20 years ago.

It's perfect for an office job backpack! It's not bulky at all and it says it has a 15" lap top sleeve. I have an hp envy that is 15.6" and it's in an hp case so roughly 17.5" total and it fits perfectly without distorting the shape and I still have plenty of room for anything else I desire.

Bag seemed good online and in person. Quality was great, faux leather was legit, and have been using at UPS for about 4 weeks to no flaw. My only gripe is I walked into TJ MAXX a few weeks later and found the same bag literally half price off (pictured above). Is one more authentic than the other; I don’t know because I didn’t have my Amazon one but felt similar. Anyways just go to TJ MAXX, save some money. Wish they price matched because this is NOT a complaint about quality of the product.

High quality materials! I was worried the brand may have slipped into the corporate appeal of larger profit margins however I cannot tell a difference from 10 years ago.

I had a Jansport backpack in the way back, (80s) and this City View is a pretty solid interpretation of the pack I had over 30 years ago.The pockets and their layout are simple but effective, just like the old models, with a synthetic leather bottom and tie down patch on the front.This pack has a nice laptop sleeve on the back interior wall, and a hidden stash pocket on the right side back seam, but otherwise definitely captures all the qualities of the original Jansports of the past.Definitely a good deal if you are looking for a simple urban back pack, and don’t want to be mistaken for one of the ‘tacticool’ types.

I took away one star because the backpack arrived with a faulty zipper on the medium outside pocket. It wouldn't unzip, and then I saw that it looks like someone else tried to force the zipper and broke the tab on the zipper pull. Amazon needs a better system for returns of damaged items so they don't get sent out again. I requested a replacement and it said it will arrive tomorrow, so I am not too bothered by the delay, but will have to take it to return it.However, the backpack is just what I wanted. It looks very nice and sturdy, the leather bottom looks nice and not too fake. I like the structure, it looks a little taller and not as deep ad my husband's 20 year old standard jansport. It doesn't look like it will expand outward as much, I like that, I don't want it to stick out too far and have everything fall to the bottom. It's very nice looking, hopefully the replacement will won't have any problems.

I've had Jansport backpacks for as long as I can remember. It was about time to retire my old backpack, so I decided to upgrade from the kind that I normally get. I was really excited about the faux leather bottom because that seems to be the thing that wears out the fastest in all my other bags. I've used the bag exactly once as my personal item while traveling across the country for a short weekend trip. The bag was full but not completely stuffed. I only noticed on my return trip that the seam near where one of the shoulder straps connects was separating. The pictures show the good side and the side that has malfunctioned. Needless to say, I'm not happy with this purchase and will be returning it. So bummed.

I bought this backpack to replace an older and very large bulky laptop backpack that proved to be too big for a smaller computer purchased. While this one is smaller and much lighter than my last one it’s a little bigger than I expected it to be. Overall though I’m happy with it. It’s comfortable to wear and seems durable. The green color is a bit lighter than I thought it would be.

Great bag with lots of different practical compartments.

Cumpliendo las expectativas de la marca, tamaño ideal para cargar una laptop, resistente y cómoda. Si caminan con ella con camisa o playera sin fajar tengna cuidado porque el roce con la base de la mochila les irá subiendo la prenda poco a poco.

EXCELENTE PRODUCTO, MATERIALES DE BUENA CALIDAD, PERO NO CORRESPONDE EL MODELO CON LAS IMÁGENES PUBLICADAS, LAS ETIQUETAS INDICAN QUE ES UNA CITY VIEW, PERO REPITO NO ES LA DE LAS IMÁGENES, DEBERÍAN REVISAR ESA SITUACIÓN, CONSERVARE LA MOCHILA YA QUE ME URGÍA.

Es la segunda mochila City View que he comprado, es una mochila muy espaciosa, ligera, tiene más espacio del que se puede creer y cumple muy bien su función Ange cualquier situacion, no se cuartea gracias al material de Jansport, en la lluvia repele muy bien, aunque si es lluvia muy fuerte se filtraráLa piel es muy duradera y suaveSatisfecho

Es amplia, material de buena calidad y excelente precio (la compré en promo). La he usado con peso de hasta 7 kilos y resiste bien además que el diseño me gustó mucho
