Not narrow enough
I have a VERY narrow foot, with a very high arch (my fingers can go completely under my foot to the other side because the outside of my foot is also arched), and a large size, 9.5. These shoes are VERY comfy, but they fall off my foot. I am 63, with bad knees, mostly due to not being able to find proper width shoes. I use orthotics to help with this problem, but they do not compensate for enough. I am not overweight, and wear classic styles, and look good for my age, and would love to have modestly fashionable, practical footwear that will remain on my feet and not cause me to stumble or fall. I have to wear athletic shoes most of the time, and just want some casual shoes to wear with nicer pants, or nice jeans, that are arched, and soled like athletic shoes (1-1.25" heel), with a closed back (orthotic firendly) and a triple A, at least...I am a 4A-5A) a means of keeping them on my feet. It would be nice to have shoes that fit every occasion with these specs. When I was in my teens, I was able to find such shoes, because manufacturers made them. Now, they only consider selling W or WW or WWW in stores, and all narrows must be purchased online at outrageous prices. Where is the consideration for people with narrow feet who have a modest income??? Even if I were overweight, I would have narrow feet. Why are people with healthy bodies penalized for wanting to take care of them?Wide-footed people are catered to, and provided for even in discount stores. Why not people with narrow feet...why are they more costly, if they require less material? Please, please, try to influence the shoe industry by providing less dorky shoes for narrow feet, at more reasonable prices, and available in stores, like years ago. a lot of expense for knee and hip replacements (both of which I need, due to poor footwear) could be avoided, and less expense for the medical insurance industry as well as government.

Love these
This is my second pair of Trotters and I love them. I live and work in a downtown area and walk 7 blocks to work everyday. When it's raining, these are the only shoes I wear. Warm, dry, and comfortable! And I get tons of complements. The only thing is that the picture shows the liner is black (as it was on my old pair) and on my new ones the lining is red. I prefer the black, but since my pants usually cover them it's not a big deal. My first pair I had (and wore a lot!) for about 4 years. They still looked great outside but the inside was getting pretty worn and started hurting my feet a bit. But after 4 years of wear what do you expect?I HIGHLY recommend these boots for anyone needing to keep thier feet warm and dry!

Disappointed
I was hoping these would be cozy winter boots to slip on to walk the dog and run errands. I have wide feet, and have a miserable time finding shoes and boots that fit. My foot is wide, but my heel is normal, and these boots flopped around every time I took a step. However, they WERE wide enough across the toe box. Instead of being cozy and comfy they are stiff, and the lining is less furry than the picture leads you to believe. I thought they were a stiff, floppy box of questionable quality. I would have given them a 2 1/2 if that was an option. They remind me of something you'd pick up for cheap in a chain store. I'm not desperate enough to keep them, so back they go.

Great winter wonderland boot
These are my second pair. (Psycho dog chewed the old ones to bits.) They hold up very well in the Northeast winter and are warm and dry with the right pair of socks. Not exactly the right boots for walking all day. The footbed is on the flat side. But they do the job for me. I've walked across frozen lakes, stomped through the snow, built snowmen, made snow angels, and went sledding with the kids. They were also fine while shoveling. Enjoy

runs small in length
Wasn't sure about zipper quality. Agree with what others said about that. It sticks and does feel cheaply made. A metal zipper would be better. This one is plastic. However, I was going to ignore that and hope it lasted a couple seasons because I have not found another waterproof NARROW boot, but I ultimately returned because it was too small. Got a half size bigger and still too smal1. Then, I just gave up. If they go on sale, maybe I will decide to try another 1/2 size up for the 3rd order. BTW, the half size increase did help one foot, but my other which is almost a half size bigger still needed more room :( If your feet aren't as wacked as mine, you should be fine. LOL

So far so good, after 2 weeks
I searched high and low for good winter boots in January, at a time when most everything is picked over. I wanted boots that I could wear to work with dress pants and also wear with jeans on the weekends. These fit the bill from a fashion standpoint, and they are pretty comfy too. They are a smidge stiff but I'm pretty sure they just need some breaking in. Overall, pleased with this purchase so far!

Good Choice
Always must decide, when I buy new-to-me brand, should I get Medium or Wide? Here, Wide left extra room for toes, as planned. Through showers I easily go, but really too short for snow. Shiny patent boots, striding securely down slick sluiced streets, walking many miles in my rainy region with feet kept warm and dry: bliss!

Awesome winter boots
These are some of the best winter boots that I have had. The tread is perfect, the side zipper make them easy to get on and off. I read the other reviews that stated the boots were a little wide, since I have a narrow foot I ordered the narrow size. Although they are wider than a normal narrow, I expected this and the fit is not bad. They are attractive as well, which is a big thing for me and footwear. Also, the heel is a plus as they are the perfect height for my work pants.
