Awesome trade edition
So 1st I have not completely made my way through this edition yet. I have the original edition which I have found to be highly structured and informative on the subject. I'm very interested in seeing the new information and updates that have been added. The appearance and quality of this trade edition are very impressive. The feel of the cover is nice, paper quality is good, layout and printing are set up correctly and dont look cheap, and metallic silver lettering on the cover really makes it "pop". Where the 1st edition may have been cost prohibitive for some people this is very reasonable.Be warned though, this is not a easy/ light read. I don't recommend for beginners with no knowledge on Enochian or Magickal concepts or people who are looking for a quick read. This will take time to work through and absorb but the end game is totally worth it!

If every prophet made a religion...
After reading the summaries and listening to an interview with the author I had high hope's for this book. I thought there would be some sort of breakthrough in Enochian studies. My thought was based entirely on the recognition of the quad (being grids, crosses, elements and maps), which is preconceived considering the details of all prior occultic and Enochian-type studies.Imagine if every Joe had their visions and their prophetic experiences and mystical scryings and quickly the noise becomes clamor. What's needed is the rational breakthrough promised in the Book of the Law.But if you are looking for that promise of a solution, that rational breakthrough, Robert P tells you explicitly to look elsewhere. In his short chapter in Thelema, he asks the reader to abandon discernment and skepticism because reason is nothing more than a deception of a demon.A zero sum game. Even if the circumstances of his reception were true, why should anyone truly care?Instead of a book building upon new research, we have a book that is entirely based on rehashes (basic Enochian calls are reintroduced to fill 60 pages because nobody thinks a thorough book should end after 169 pages) and filling a niche (the entirety of that niche is merely a forced association of each call with it's own sigil). Robert P would like you to believe his grids and sigils are the swiss army knife of magic. Instead, all I see is more clutter. All I hear is more clamor. Two stars for at least having a few interesting insights.

Really Magickal
This is a great book for a novice or advanced practitioner. Unlike many magical books written by men it DOESN'T come across as a purely stiff scholarly report on magick but an informative and fun one! There are various grids, sigils included for reference IN ADDITION to details of experiences with these magical tools. If you are looking to expand your knowledge on sigil magick check this book out.
