Update: Honestly this is some of the best customer service I have ever received. I originally ordered these last summer, I did not realize that I was supposed to receive refills and extra battery packs but was recently lamenting that I did not have any nor did I know how to get them. Discovering after reexamining the item page, that I was actually supposed to have received these with my original order I left the review below. The company quickly reached out to me, promptly corrected the error and even sent me an extra pen as a kindness for the hassle. I’m blown away!I mean that’s above and beyond exceptional service! These pens are great, and the red one isn’t too bright if you’re sharing a bed with someone who’s sleeping, and now I will be able to continue to enjoy using them for the indefinite future. I especially love the red light for writing at night. However it says I’m supposed to get ink refills and extra batteries. I did not receive these, the ink cartridges are pretty small and I don’t know how I would find replacement refills. At this price point they’re too expensive if you can’t refill them and replace batteries.

I seldom write reviews of the items I buy on Amazon, however, for the Yacig Multi Functional Pens, I feel I must. At 72, my eyesight is not what it was, and I have difficulty seeing in the dusk or poorly lit areas. The LED light on the pen solves this problem and I can now see what I am writing clearly. As far as comfort goes, I am able to hold it easily and it is much more comfortable than the thin pens I was use to. Also, it has helped my “shaky” handwriting with the smooth writing ink without smudging or smearing. It comes with a spare refill as well as spare batteries, something I have not seen elsewhere. They say, “30 day no-hassle refund & return for 100% satisfaction”, and I must say they live up to that statement. I had one issue and they handled the issue completely and quickly. Mandy, the support representative was quick to respond and resolved my issue very fast and her follow-up was impressive. My wife writes critiques of plays and takes notes during the plays (in the dark). I bought her one of each color to see which one would be noticed the least by the audience around her. The white light is bright and more noticeable by others in the dark than the red or blue, but all 3 provide great lighting. She loves them! I use to have several pens on my desk, but now, the only one I use is my Yacig Multi Function Pen.

I got my pens quicker than promised and they exceeded my expectations. Well made, sturdy, beautiful and work great at night. These are worth every penny for anyone who needs a pen to use under low or no light conditions. And they write very smoothly as well. Good purchase. The only slight problem I've encountered is the ink skips sometimes. Not often enough to be a huge problem though.

I purchased this pen set to use to keep our Boat's Log when on a longer trip which involves some night sailing, hence it'll be dark when we make the log entry.The set arrived on time (on my Chosen Amazon Day) along with another item. The set came in what appears to be a waterproof zip lock type bag.In the bag were: 3 Pens, 6 Refills, and 3 sets of replacement batteries. Clear and easy to read Instructions and a Satisfaction support sheet.The pens write almost a fine point, and the LED is very bright! We'll have no problems filling out the Log entries in the dark sailboat cockpit.The pens have a push button on the end opposite the nib. 1 push extends the Pen, 2nd push retracts it, 3rd push extends the pen and turns on the LED, 4th push retracts it and turns the LED off.Pen feels comfortable to hold, it's not skinny, but certainly not too fat.I'm really pleased with this purchase. Certain that I'll be able to buy replacement batteries. Battery Type is AG4 and each pen uses 3 of the batteries. They all come with 3 batteries installed in addition to the pack of 9 batteries included in the pack.Update after 6 months.Well, I was expecting to wear the batteries out, but after 6 months including a 3 week Trip to the Bahamas where I routinely used the pen (I only took one on board for that trip) still no sign of needing to replace the batteries. I'm careful about using them, turning the light off while I think of the next bit to write in my paper blog each night.So I would up my original 5 stars to 10. Love them!

The pen writes well. It's a wee bit large and hefty, so I wouldn't advise it for very small hands. The light is amazingly bright, and can be seen at a distance.

It's a nice pen to write with, and the action is solid and dependable. The red light is just right, and doesn't leave you dazzled at night. Comes with spare refills and batteries, and detailed instructions should you need them! Nice buy.

I’m one of Yacig’s first customers. A couple years ago I purchased, directly from them, my first two, tip lit pens. They made my life, considerably easier and better. Previously I used a small handheld flashlight, a pen and small note pad, to capture my night time thoughts and dreams. I liked those original pens, but found their white light tip, a bit too big, too bright. Using black tape, to half cover the tips, solved the glare. A few months ago I noticed Yacig made this new red lit tip night pen. I wanted two pens but Amazon only sold either one or three at a time. I bought the three. The light intensity of the new red tip pens was perfect, but it did tend to fade quicker than their original pen. If you don’t do much writing at night, it might not be much of an issue. Yacig’s first model was powered by a single AAA battery and the new red pen uses 3 small LR626 batteries, that the company said they use to reduce the pen’s weight. It takes three clicks before the red light comes on. The first click, drops the writing tip out of its shroud. The second click, lifts it back up. A third click, drops the tip and turns on the red light. I am amazed that Yacig did not put their name on the pen’s clip or body.

First, the delivery came much sooner than scheduled, I do appreciate it.Secondly, the products (the pens) are very nice looking, the light perfect, the pen looks elegant and good material.When I order, I try my best not to order merchandise made in China. But so far, with many items ordered and made in China (I had no other choice) I am happy they (I mean the ones I ordered) are good and if China continues doing decent and good business like that, China will soon gain trust from the whole world regarding their merchandises. One more thing, I just ordered a pack of 3 pens, but they gave me two extra ones, I don't know why, but I thank and appreciate that.
