High value - stress saver - saved day
Newbie computer fixer. Desperate. Crossed fingers it was power supply. Unit value was much higher than overall repair store options. Hard to not give it a try. Followed A-A, B-B, C-C plan - take a wire off - put a wire from the new unit back in - take one off - put one back in. Remove old power supply - put new one in. Tuck wires away. 15 minutes tops. Powered up machine = Hard drive is back = nirvana!!!. Back up drive immediately invoked. 3 weeks and runs just fine. The unit starts out silently. A+! Unit speeds up to a louder pitch under load. B- but way ok with fan noise considering any other option. Unit is slightly smaller than origiinal but way ok with that too. Extremely high value!! Very easy fix!! Surprised myself. Unit saved the day.

Quick shipping but loud fan
Works great, but the fan was too loud for my ears. I swapped the fan from my old power supply in, and now it works great. If you do this, there is a little screw under the "do not remove" sticker - which voids the warranty. But, easy peasy ... I did need to cut the wires and solder, as my old fan connector wire had a slightly different connector. No problem though. But, turned a 5 minute job into about 1/2 hour. Oh well ... works great and my old photo computer is back.

Fast but loud
Works great and install was a little complicated but went pretty fast. Took pictures of the inside before disconnecting anything so I knew what needed plugged back in. There are a few "plugs" not connected. My HP Pavillion Slimline required a fan removal, disc drive partial removal - out the front - in order to unplug the component. Upgraded but did not realize this fan was so loud! My previous one I rarely heard running. This one is so loud I will be moving the tower under my desk instead of on it. Have to put computer to "sleep" in order to hear anyone when using speaker phone.

Quality Upgrade at a Bargain Price
The unit fits well inside my HP Pavilion Slimline PC. I had a local computer store install it. My original power source went kaput after I started watching a lot of DVDs. It seemed like they drew too much power and were a bit jerky. But with this upgraded power supply, my DVDs and streaming online videos play smoothly. I think the computer store geeks tuned up my PC as part of the install as well. In any case, it runs much better and I'm happy with this power upgrade. The price was a bargain, too.

Make sure you check the wattage
The power supply that I requested was 300w tfx, what I received was 420w power supply, when I installed it,not knowing that it was the wrong watt, my mother board was burned.

More watts but louder
I used this as a replacement for my original power supply. It fits perfect and hooked right up with no problems. I received the upgraded version which was 425 watts, which was great, but it is little loud compared to my old one. But it works fine.

Decent replacement PS. A little noisy though
works fine to replace the failed one in my PC. It's noisy though, you definitely know it's on when you are in the room. Not jet engine crazy loud but I wish it was a little quieter!

Works for my customer
Right now it does what it needs to do, I can't comment on exactly how long it will last, but hopefully I won't have to find out it stopped working. Keep in mind that it only has 2 sata connectors, so if you have multiple drives you will need molex to sata converters.
