It's small. Underpowered and runs extremely hot. It has no external clock etc.Compared to others at this price point it is really quite poor value.And the most critical point here - it will play 4K videos, but will not output HDR (High Dynamic Range). I believe the hardware is capable of doing it, but the firmware will not do it.Many (perhaps even most) new TVs support HDR - which allows a wider range of colours than previous standards. If you want to enjoy UHD (which is 4K+HDR) then this box will not do it for you.If you're happy with just non-HDR 4K or 1080p output then it may be OK... but it's still poor value for that (see the problems I listed first).So no... I can't recommend it. And I've returned it as it does not do the things it states in the listing.

Very happy with this box, I used it with some external USB Hard drives while away on holiday to have all of my TV programs and movies with me, worked flawlessly and while there was the odd jitter on screen this could have been due to the files being played from an external source.Like others have commented the box itself does get pretty hot so I would only leave it plugged in while watching something. Additionally the remote is very limited so I'd suggest an additonal controller/air mouse/keyboard to make the experience much easier.

I needed a replacement for my 2 year old MXQPro. It had done me a great service but was getting slow and clunky. The S9 pro is a much smaller box and has a decent weight to it. Usual set up as any other. Fast download of everything I wanted . It took me around 20 minutes in total. As is common with these products the remote supplied is not up to much, however mini wireless keyboards are a must anyway. I've now been breaking it in for a few days and the speed and smoothness of play is excellent.

This box is a waste of time and not worth the money, firstly Google Play store would not work and I have to do a full factory reset. Youtube app would not connect to anything and every time it was opened it would just show an error message that something had gone wrong uninstalled and reinstalled still the same.Netflix app was slow to load and once loaded it was impossible to navigate even when switching to mouse mode.Anyone thinking about getting this stop and spend a little bit more and get an Amazon Fire TV stick or a Roku box.I have returned my one for a full refund total waste of money.

Needed to upgrade my old MXQ mk6 box which was getting tired. Couldn’t have chosen a better replacement. Very easy to install and excellent value for money.

After load a app and trying to watch something it kept stopping and turning off. As the box was hot I unplugged it. When it had cooled down (the next day) I plugged it back in. The apps I added had gone. Loaded the apps again and the same thing happened. I had it month before I could use it.It's now sitting redundant as my return date passed a week ago

Brought this for fact it was reasonable price and andriod 9. All was heading in the right direction but usb ports did not work, for example couldnt connect two new bluetooth keyboards which we're tried and tested on other devices. I put it down to the device. Unfortunately 1 hour or so later, I've decided to return.

Works well with IPTV, Plex, 4k movies and other available Android media software. UI smooth and fluid. Absolute bargain
