Nice basic worsted!
Pretty soft for a washable wool. There were a few fiber wads along the first skein I'm working with; joins? Some people have complained about pilling, or yarn wear if rip-outs were needed. Using bamboo needles, I've haven't seen any hint of such issues. Nice stitch definition. Good yardage. Have no idea how it will hold up to laundering, as the project I'm making will be a gift. Probably great for aghans and children's sweaters.

Color more faded than appears and pills from the beginning
Cascade 220 is Cascade 220-what can I say. Knits up well, but as always colors never appear as they seem, and again-as always-even with superwash-expect pilling to begin the moment you begin working with it. I must say I was surprised to see this, considering it’s a Peruvian Highland Wool. Took 2 stars off due to the pilling and the “faded” color. Couldn’t tell if it was blue green teal or a combination. 🥴

Sooooo soft and cozy
I knitted a simple cardigan for myself. Because the yarn has color variations in it, it doesn't need interest from cables or other complications. So for this, I just used Stockinette with ribbed edges. So soft and beautiful, the yarn can make occasionally fuzzy bumps if overly worked, so the less you need to pull out stitches/redo things, the better. Very expensive, though, but it is mostly alpaca.

Easy to use and looks nice. It is already wound into a useable ball.

GREAT washable wool yarn!
Yarn was used for the 1898 Hat pattern from Ravelry. Lovely finished hat! Will purchase again! Texas Longhorn fans will love this yarn for a 1898 hat!

Good, solid yarn, but discontinued.
Cascade 220 Superwash is a good, solid, washable wool. I'm currently knitting a large afghan with it.Pros: Holds its shape nicely, is easy to manage, doesn't hold dirt and dog hair as readily as some other yarns I've worked with. Not the highest quality yarn, but good for basic projects for beginner and intermediate level knitters. Fairly good yarn at a fairly cheap pricepoint.Cons: Discontinued. Snatch it up now while you still can. I know I am.

Smells Awful!!!
The yarn smells like sewage. I had to wash my hands several times just to get the smell off of them after holding the yarn.

Excellent customer service
Despite ordering the number of skeins listed on the pattern, I found myself short of yarn (undoubtedly a user error though I did knit a gauge to begin!) Turns out there was only one skein left in the dye lot I needed. I sent a message via Amazon to request the same lot. Knit's Fabulous made sure that I got it and I was able to complete a Daniel Tiger cardigan for my grandson without worry.
