good buy for the price
I bought this car from amazon six months ago. Let me start by saying the specks online of the electronics was a little off as far as the esc and brushless motor. i don't normally do reviews but this truck is underrated by most hobbyist. The brushless motor it comes with is a vega powered 550 4 pole 2200kv, the esc is also a Vega powered 80 amp. The motor and esc combo is pretty good for this truck and provide a decent amount of power on 3s lipo's. the esc is fully programmable with or without a programming card. i plan on running on 4's soon and i will keep this updated. i clocked this trucks top speed at 33 mph on 3's stock battery. the run time is only about 8 min with the stock 2700mah battery. i upgraded to a venom 500omah 3's and get about 15 to 20 min of run time depending on the terrain. I gave this 4 stars because of the plastic c hub steering knuckle and rear bearing hub that i have broken twice with light jumps. luckily they make aluminum upgrade parts for almost every thing on this truck. so if you buy this truck i would say make sure you have an extra $100 to buy those aluminum upgades. other than that i haven't had any real problems with this truck other then the grub screw for the pinion i have lost a few times but you can put some lock tight on to fix that.
