I recommend all his books not just this one
This is a wonderful book, I buy as many of his books as possible. This book gives one plenty of insight into what the ancient schools of thought in asia meant by chi, prana, and kundalini. This book gives one a positive outlook and hope for "civilization". He mentions the heavyweights of western philosophy and compares and contrasts them in a manner that shows, that the ancient wisdom teachers even though coming from differnt cultures and schools of thought. The wisdom teachers ultimately drew the same conclusions about human nature/ divinity (apotheosis). (Humans can become......) Interested? Read this book!

Enough with the samadhi and zen, read this book to know what to do with your mind!
Ok zen is cool, Taoism is awesome. I dig both. The thing is most students of these practices have little to no idea what to do with their minds on a day to day basis. Some think it’s about having a blank mind, or no thoughts, or going with the current of their steaming mental events. There’s a lot of missing information in these circles unfortunately because most people just don’t know. It’s a fact.Bodri comes to save the day, as usual his stuff is way ahead, above and better than all. Just the facts. I like this book for many reasons but the main reason is the Chapter on ACT, or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.Gives you plenty of info, examples, and instructions on how to use your head using ACT but also Confucianism and other modalities. For this reason alone I give it 5 stars. If the book was only this chapter on ACT I’d be super happy with it. Zen buffs, Tao Dudes, Samadhi heads, you need this book in your life. What has Confucius done for you lately? Read this book!Enjoy.
