Team Associated 20157 SC28 Fox Factory Edition Micro Short Course Truck Ready to Run Kit, 1/28 Scale, 2WD

After seeing mixed internet reviews, I decided to get the SC 28. The price, obviously, a big selling point. I was SO impressed with it, right out of the box. It's really light weight, and seems a little fragile, but it's pretty heavy duty. The scale and speed is perfect for basement tracks, and cruising around the house. I also did a fatshark FPV camera, which makes it like you're behind the wheel. Team Associated had a great design making this truck light weight, durable, and fast. For those worried about the internal battery, it seems to charge fast, and last long.*Update- this truck lasted about 15 month of daily wear and tear, as my son accidentally stepped on it. This product really held up better than any RC I've owned. I've already bought 2 more as replacement. For the price, this RC is an obvious choice.

I bought this for xmas for my grandson and he absolutely loves it. It's great quality and performs really well. He is 5 and it's really easy for him to charge and use.

Two of these great little RC vehicles, several empty 3-ring binders opened and laid face-down for "jumps", and some quality time turns a rainy day into a real blast. These trucks are durable, relatively quick-charging, and fun with their fully-proportional steering, forward and reverse motion, and relatively torquey power-to-weight ratio. HIGHLY recommend getting the USB charging cables, as it fixes the only trouble spot ... you will need a stash of AAs for the remotes if you don't. However, they're totally self-contained and RTR so buy away, and expect a fun time.

Get little car. Almost too much power for a rear wheel drive but super fun!!!

I got 3 of these and changing my review now. 1 melted on 1st charge amd we was really bummed. but amazon and the seller made it all better. Just becareful with 1at charge or plug in on anything new. So we are replacing the 3rd now. These things are so much fun in small course areas. Goes across grass and all. Team associated never has let me down in my years of racing r/c. Sucks 1 didn't work but, They handled it. Great for getting kids started in hand eye coordiantion and throttle control before brraking the bank on a high end rc for the kids to rip around with

Failed right away. Battery was fully charged as per instructions. Binding process was easy. Drove on kitchen floor turned around and came back and it just stopped! Still had power because the front steering was working. Turned truck and controller off and back on. Worked for about 10 seconds and no power to the wheels. I'm assuming a bad onboard LiPo battery. Sat to long? Who knows. The way it's made there's no way of taking out the little battery and testing to see if that's an issue. WLtoys was a better buy.Shame on you Team Associated for putting your brand on this thing!

I bought (2) RC28 Buggy's. One Jammin Jay edition and the other is the RC10 replica. Both were so fun and durable that I wanted to get the MT28 and Fox Factory Trophy Truck. These things are amazing. However, the trophy truck slides and drifts perfectly on our wooden floors so it's my favorite. We race around on the concrete outside and indoors on rugs and floor. You will not be disappointed.

Purchased 2 of these for my 6 year old son and I to race. Short course trucks, one orange one white. They work well on wood flooring, concrete in the garage and very short carpet. Not for any rough terrain. Lots of fun racing around the kitchen and garage. I recommend getting the USB port charger for the cars, it will save a lot of money versus charging with the controller. I have had to disassemble the rear axle on both cars to remove debris like hair that gets wrapped around the axle but that being said great little cars for the money.
