This stuff is pretty ugly.....
First off the thumbnail that amazon shows on the product and the picture I see in the actual ad show two completely different tones now that I come back to look at it. I wish I would have noticed that at the time I made the purchase. So just a heads up that the pictures do conflict. One is several shades lighter then the other. This may or not be relevant if the pictures get changed again. But the color tone is so much worse in person. Down right ugly. Again this is personal preference.I was expecting higher quality. The peel N stick at the big box stores are much higher quality, and cheap, but they didn't have the light maple/oak that we were looking for. We thought this would be perfect, for our application of putting under the kitchen cabinet as we had to replace the bottom with OSB board to cover water damage. We were expecting it to look more like a natural wood grain as they are getting pretty good with the vinyl peel N stick woodgrains these days, but this is not one of them. This looks like the woodgrain peel N stick of yester years. As for the quality of the peel N stick I cannot comment as we will not be using it, but I certainly wouldn't want it to stick. (Not on my floor) The surface has a glossy plastic finish that gets funky when being shipped in the heat. This product was inexpensive and not worth the fight to return as the only people who will make out on the deal would then be the shipping company. The seller shipped the product quickly and it wasn't much money.Since this is represented as a Vinyl Self stick floor tile, I have to only give it one star, as there is so many finer products out on the market this day & age that would do the job better for the same money.

Bad adhesive
The tiles are very nice and pretty, but it seemed like only every other one stuck. We had just replaced the sub floor so it was the same floor all of the way. Not impressed with the adhesive on these tiles. In fact some of the backing came right of the tiles so I knew right then that I was in trouble getting some of these to stick. Didn't quite live up to what I expected.

Good product BUT check box asap
I bought these a while ago and put them away until I was ready to install. I pulled out the first tile and notice a corner was broken. I continued taking them out of the box and they were all broken. I then saw the corner of the box was crushed. I know I didn't drop it so I'm assuming the carrier did on the truck or whatever. Normally I'd contact Amazon and they would take care of it but I had these on a shelf for so long, who's to say I didn't drop it (although I know I did not).I installed them in a small half bath in my cellar,46inch x 48inch. I had to make more cuts than usual in order to remove the broken corners. It was easy, just took longer than it should have.I used these in my basement which is fine because it's not used that often and not by guest but I would not use in an upstairs bath or any other room which is used a lot. I just don't see them holding up very long. It's been 2 days since I installed them and they look good for that room but I think over time they will crack and break. If they last a year I'll be surprised.Just remember to open the box as soon as they are delivered to check for damage.

Wonderful stuff!
Even for a "senior" mechanically inept female, this stuff goes down easy. It even stays there. The price is great, for the quality. And it's done wonders for the room. It also arrived VERY quickly, although THEY paid the shipping!

Doesn't Stick. Very Unhappy.
I bought this for an inexpensive fix to go over old linoleum in the kitchen. I cleaned the surface throughly and let it dry before I applied them. I also taped the tiled together while the sticky set. No matter, the tiles shifted and started peeling after about a month. I even had to order another box to replace several tiles. Eventually, I just gave up replacing tiles and just took the whole floor up. This might be ok for a room with not a lot of foot traffic, but certainly not the solution for being walked on all the time. Very unhappy.
