Use it for the 2.4L gm oil filters at work and works great.

Chevrolet put the oil filter in an asinine spot on their 2.4l ecotec engines. This socket makes it easier to access the plastic filter cap.

Used to remove car engine oil filter cover. Fits nicely on cover and attaches well on wrench. Does what I bought it for with any issues. Quality & matte black finish are just fine. Can't beat it for the price.

I bought this for the filter housing cap on our BMW. While it works fine and seems to be of good quality, it's a bit oversized for the 36mm hex nut on the BMW filter housing. So instead of 5 stars I'm giving 4. But it still worked.

I have an R53 (05 Mini cooper S) & the space where my oil filter is, is a very tight space so I decided to get the low profile socket or else I wouldn't be able to do the oil changes myself. The low profile is great, fits in the tight space easily. I have yet to do an oil change just yet but I tried the fitting when I got this in the mail and the sizing is a bit too large, I guess the size I actually need is in between sizes. Even though this is a tad larger than I need it will work fine, I know the size down would be too small too which is a bit frustrating. Also this socket has a decent weight to it which was a nice surprise.

Bought this for the stubborn oil filter housing on our 2005 Mini Cooper. Had previously been borrowing my uncle's for oil changes. Realized after getting this that it wouldn't work with my 1/2" breaker bar (yes I'm dumb).... While this works great after getting the filter housing loose, I would recommend a good 1/2" type breaker bar (of considerable length) and a 1/2" 36mm socket for it to get those stubborn housings off.

Works perfectly for my needs. I’m using it to remove a plastic cap on a diesel engine oil filter so for that it’s excellent.

Nothing special really I got it to unscrew the cartridge style oil filter in my car.

Haven't used it yet, but should work ok as it is a low profile. I could just get on the oil filter cap on my 07 Chevy cobalt with a regular socket so this should have more clearance. The real test will be on my 2014 Equinox as the clearance is even less.

Acheté pour moteur GM 2,4 litre, pour Polaris Slingshot , le fit est parfais, va tellement être plus facile de faire les changements d'huile maintenant.
