As a Mother’s Day treat, this is quite a sweet little gift set: two travel-sized bottles of toiletries and a scented candle, presented in a candy-coloured cardboard box.The body wash has what can best be described as an interesting scent: while the bottle is unicorn-themed, the smell reminds me of chocolate and cherry – not my favourite combination but, thankfully, it’s not too perfumed. It does suffer from a problem I’ve had with other Baylis and Harding body washes, though, in that it’s a very gloopy gel which comes out in what can best be described as “lumps”, so controlling how much of it you get is very difficult and you usually end up losing at least some of it. Still, it lathers well and is suitably gentle.The body lotion is certainly fruity, although, again, not over-perfumed. You don’t need to use much and it takes a little bit of rubbing in, but overall, it works well.The candle comes in a decorated frosted white glass, and looks to be made from paraffin wax. It does have quite a strong scent when you sniff it, but again, that doesn’t translate into an overpowering aroma when you burn it. (Sometimes scented candles give me a headache, especially if the perfume is artificial. This one didn’t.) You’ll need to adjust the wick to get it to burn evenly, but it’s going to last you at least eight hours based on my use of it so far.It’s an odd combination of aromas, to be sure, but it is a fun gift and the handy size of the toiletries means they’re ideal to take away with you, even if the candle isn’t.

Baylis & Harding are a reliable brand and this is another nice product. The only odd thing is it's called a "Super Mom" trio when there's nothing to suggest a connection to mums, super or otherwise. In fact, with the unicorn and flamingo themes, it might be more suitable for a teenager.For sale at the time of writing this review at £8 (RRP £10).

A nice mid range product ,smells good and foams up nicely when mixed in hand with a little water. Definately a bathtime treat for mums and others as the packaging mentions this nowhwere on it. The lotion is light smelling and not at all greasy and is great to apply after rexaing in the bath with the lit candle , now where is that book ? I'm set
