I cooked these peas, per directions, and they didn't soften at all. Continued cooking for another 30-40 minutes, and they are still practically rock-hard. It's particularly frustrating that there are NO RETURNS. This is an inferior, perhaps even defective product. I won't be ordering anything from this company ever again. If you don't stand behind your product, I don't patronize you.

Great Sproutable Organic Green Peas, I love this brand and their products..

I cooked them in pea soup in the InstaPot for 20 minutes and they were hard little rubber balls. The carrots were mush in the same time. I tried to salvage them by pressure cooking them another 20 minutes, and they were still hard! I don't know if they were very old or what? I had peas from this same brand and they were great. And Amazon won't refund my money, for this 5lb bag!!! They're worthless!
