Horrible Science: Shocking Electricity Kindle Edition

Fascinating for adults as well as children!

Any book that makes learning fun gets five stars from me. This series is great and I highly recommend it to any one with young kids (mine are 6 and 8 and fully enjoying these books).

This would be a great book (I think) if it didn't consist of so many sketches/pictures with text in them - these images are so small that we can't read the text - and even if I increase the text size on the Kindle settings to maximum the pictures remain the same size. I am reading it to my eight year old son on my Kindle Touch and whilst the actual typed text is readable this is only a small part of the book. Even my eight year old can't see the tiny writing in the pictures clearly - and his eyesight is perfect (I wear glasses). So disappointing as the bits we can see to read are great and he's really interested in them.

A brilliant book that'll get any junior scientist's imagination going. Dipping into the facts, stories and concepts contained in this book provides a superb background to KS 2 / 3 syllabus.

Went well with accompanying electronics kit

Great present for my 10yr old. He doesn't put it down.
