Universal Faucet Parts 1091005 55/64"-27F Thread 2.2GPM Aerator, Black

These are 2.2 gpm aerators. They have 2x the flow you get with hardware store aerators and work great. I love them and have purchased multiple times. Our cottage is on well water, which also has some sediments in it. This filter traps those sediments and I'm okay with replacing every 3-4 years when the flow drops a bit.

We've had to change out the kitchen sink faucet about a year ago and the water flow had been on the slow side since then and I mean very slow. It would take forever to fill up a large tea pitcher or just to fill up the sink to wash dishes I ended up using the sprayer since it was faster.I decided to look on Amazon to buy a new kitchen faucet when I read some reviews on this faucet head saying that the gpm was 2.2 or something like that. I got to thinking, maybe that is what's wrong with mine, the gpm is to low with the all these new faucets!I received this today and wrote my review as soon as I installed it! I posted some pictures including before and after photos of how much faster the water flow is! This was listed as a universal faucet head and it fit mine pretty well. It didn't screw on completely flush with the faucet but it doesn't leak and the water flow is so fast now!

I am so sick of all of the water saving options out there that really suck when you already have low water pressure! I was so glad that I found this one, now I can wash my hands and brush my teeth in half the time it used to take. I understand conserving water, but sometimes those options waste water when it takes too long to do anything.

Better quality than the big box variety.

I installed this on my kitchen faucet. It went on easily with no tools since I had taken the old aerator off already. Looks good and has the right amount of water flowing out.

I bought a used travel trailer and to my surprise the kitchen faucet was missing its aerator and had Male threads - I bought this item blind, not knowing If it would work and I'm happy to say it's a perfect fit. I am so thankful to be able to open my faucet fully without water splashing back at me and all over the counters now, it was worth the high price tag for the convenience

Purchased new Moen facets and the water flow was so weak, I would die of thirst before it filled up a glass...I know I am exaggerating but the flow rate was very slow. Put one of these on the faucet and had twice the flow. These are easy to take apart and clean every once in a while if I notice the flow has decreased or not flowing evenly. Have done so a couple of times over the years.
