This rat poison is the absolute best.I live in South East Texas.We have field rats and mice.I have tried multiple brands from tractor supply and they didn't work.On the 5th day after putting this out, I found dead rats.It works very well and I will never buy a different brand again. It's a little pricey for $50 but you get a lot!Well worth the money in my opinion. Considering how much damage the rats can do..Don't hesitate buying this.It definitely works and you will be satisfied.

I had a fantasy that I didn't have rats in my new backyard in Brooklyn. That fantasy was obliterated off of the face of the planet this spring when I started noticing rats running across my yard and trying to get into our outdoor compost bin.I've tried those snap traps before, but they only kill one rat at a time and it's really hard to lure them into those things. They also rarely kill a rat.Enter poison.I don't like the concept of using poison, but if you put this in a bait box on the ground near a path of travel for rodents, no birds or cats will be able to get into it so it's a pretty targeted approach to only killing rats and mice.You also have to be patient as others have said. Even though I hate rats with a passion, they are definitely one of the most intelligent animals I've ever encountered. The five day waiting period on this is absolutely essential because rats live in a hierarchy. Older more mature rats won't go immediately to a new food source (which is smart). They will let the younger juveniles try a food first and if nothing happens, then they will think the coast is clear and eat it themselves. If this killed a rat instantly, you would only get one or two down and then the entire population would stay away from it. With the chemical formula in this, rats can be eating it for days and keep going to it, not realizing that the Grim Reaper is looking over their shoulder. That allows a larger sample size of rats to be eating it so more likely you'll get them all.I made sure that I used gloves when I put these in the boxes and periodically checked in the first few days to see if they were going for it. They definitely were because all the rods were being gnawed on. There was no difference in the population the first five days and then, almost like clockwork, on day six: A rat ghosttown in my backyard. What's interesting now is that although I've gotten rid of the rats, now mice have moved into the neighborhood. Haha. I guess they've taken over the territory from the rats. However, I see these mice now also going into the bait boxes so it looks like their time will come as well.This stuff is really expensive and I don't like that I have to buy this massive box. Out of all of the rat poisons that you can buy on Amazon though, this is definitely the most effective and thus I think what gets the higher price tag. If you have a rodent problem, definitely buy this.

This is a really good product it was suggested to me by one of my friends. I was skeptical but it has really done the job. I see a difference in my home since I started using it. I was scared to spring clean but not anymore when I cleaned out my closet this year it was practically spotless. When I moved in my home, I had no Idea what I was in for the previous owner covered it up really well but that winter I got a few surprises I even had a professional come in and treat the home and still had a big problem but now that I have One Bite not any more.

I have purchased Just One Bite for mice in the past and it worked so I thought I would try the bait bars for rats. The rats seemed to be drawn to this bait. I would place some out where I knew there were rats. After a few days, I would check, and the bait was gone.The only downside to the bait bars is they are extremely hard to break apart. I had to find something sharp with a point and press very hard between the bars to separate them. Of course, you must be careful, as bits and pieces will crumble so be careful when doing this especially if you have if you have pets and other wildlife around.

Best product out there for total Rat elimination. Rats had found my chicken house and large covered plastic tub of feed. Chewed through the bottom of tub and set up house under slab of chicken house. Seriously at one point I had to have over 50 rats scampering about. Cats didn't care and regular mice or rat traps were a hit and miss. Had rat/mouse bait boxes filled with another brand with only .01% of their active ingredient compare to .05%. Every day until the 5th day all the piles and filled boxes I had place around the chicken shed and nearby barn were emptied daily. Now haven't seen a rat in several days and yes the chicken house reeks of dead rats but that will cease over time. Since these bars need to be separated for use, I keep a small flat head screwdriver and hammer with them along with a couple of plastic gloves. Best control on the market. I'm a late 60's woman and had no problems with this product.

Killed them ALL!!! I for months I was using the anticoagulant poison. Those critters ate a package of the tiny green fish flavored balls every night. I saw zero decline intheir population. Little did I know, some rodents have developed immunity to anticoagulants. Basically the ones that didn't have the immunity died and the ones thar were immune made babies with other immunes and BAM I had bred some very hungry super mice; who were all to eager to gobble up all the poison I fed em. At my wits end and having one too many midnight shrieks, I buy Just One Bite, 8 days of the stuff and my super mice were GONE. They haven't come back, all the bricks I've placed remain partially nibbled.
