Gun Mug Ceramic

UPDATE: After 3 years, this mug is still running strong! No chipping of paint and no signs of wear after going through hundreds of cycles in the dishwasher. I've updated my review to 5 stars due to the quality/longevity.I bought this particular gun mug because the "big mouth toys" gun mug had too many negative reviews and it also only held 10 or 11oz compared to this 16oz one.The mug looks exactly as pictured and is a lot bigger than you'd expect, but this isn't a negative. I gave this item 4 stars instead of 5 because on my particular mug (black) one side of the handle you can tell that paint is thicker and detail is kinda smudged. No big deal though. In addition, there is a hole under the "trigger" part of the mug from where I guess they molded it but didn't cover it up; this posses a problem because water gets in the handle after it is washed and you have to maneuver the mug all sort of ways to extract the water. I have tried to hot glue the hole to seal it up, but after washing it, the glue came out, so I'm back to square one. I suppose I will have to hand wash and be inconvenienced until I figure out a solution.All in all the mug is what I expected and is super unique piece. It is pretty heavy and feels quality, unlike the other gun mug on amazon.

I got this for a friend of mine who is a retired police officer. He's one of those guys you never can figure out what to get him and he is never any help letting you know what he likes. This gun became the perfect blend of novelty and functionality for a gift like him. He got a crack out of the design. But for us it is more so that he is able to use it daily with little hassle.This mug was coated both inside and out the cup, which was one of the factors that helped us decide to get it. When we got the mug we were pleased with the design. Not a light and flimsy ceramic mug, but at the same time not a dense and heavy ceramic either. The weight feels just about right for a coffee mug, and it came to us with no defects, cracks or creases in the coating you can see with cheaper made products.Not much else to say. My cop friend loves it. We liked the quality. If you want to give a novelty mug to somebody and prefer the matte black finish automatic pistol design you won't go wrong with this product.

A little pricy but it looks nice & fits my husband's hand well. However, apparently there's a crack somewhere in it. I don't see any chips in the paint but after putting it in the top track of the dishwasher I heard water splashing around in it as I put it away. Not sure how sanitary it is now, but it's still functional

I first saw this on the TV show Glades and had to have it for the hubby. I bought a day pass to the shooting range and loaded it up with bullets as a surprise. He loved it and now uses it for coffee! It's big and perfect for not only those 12-14 ounce Keurig pours but our manly men as well! There is a small hole underneath where the shaft meets the cup and I learned the hard way that putting this in the dishwasher was a waste of time. Water filled the handle and it took a long time to drain it back out so now I just hand wash it up and all's good.

I bought this mug for my Father-In-Law who collects coffee mugs and guns he absolutely loves it AND SO DO I!! I'm planning on buying another for myself!! It's much bigger than expected which is great because I thought it might be more of a novelty mug but it's large enough for everyday use and it's very sturdy so I know it will last for years. The grip is close to the actual size of his 9mm which make for a really unique hold.Overall great, no complaints!

Great, sturdy cup! I bought my son this black one and then a silver one for almost twice the price. He likes them both but this black one is much sturdier and he can safely use it where as the silver one is quite thin and just up on the shelf for looks. Both look good but this is a much better buy and stronger product.

I was given one of these as a gift and decided to purchase another for one of my close friends who was recently promoted to detective. We're both gun enthusiast and I ribbed him about needing an exciting mug since he'd be wearing a tie now. Definitely an amusing conversation piece and not a bad mug for coffee.

This mug is of great quality and looks so awesome! However after washing it once, there is a tiny hole in the handle that fills with water, and is near impossible to remove. What a pain! Especially after it drips on you while taking a drink...
