I tried it out and couldn't get it to work. Reread the instructions after I gave up on it. The ignition must be turned on, not just to accessory for it to work. It went through the codes but gave a link error when in accessory. My fault. Works fine and saved me $100 on a recent troubleshoot.

I ordered a more expensive item that supposedly comes with a CD with the codes. I deliberately bypassed this one but this is the one I got.
