I'm angry - leave me be...I'm happy - lets talkWas looking for some type of stuffed "thing" to help convey emotions non-verbally within the house. Sometimes you just dont want people to engage you. Sometimes you are just to angry to talk. Or to sad to talk. You just want some visual "thing" to reflect the emotion, and then a simply way to change that to show. "Hey I'm good, now you can approach me" I found these TeeTurtle an though DANG !!! these are perfect. This is a well constructed and cute octopus plushy. I have had this plushy on my car's dashboard for years now and it has held up to the Texas sun. It is still soft and easy to flip over. It’s surprising to note how many people have placed an octopus in their cars.

He is very soft and a good size. I think the reversing feature works a lot better on the octopuses (octopi?) then the turtles. I originally got a turtle and loved him so much I wanted to get a octopus too and I think I love the octopus the best! The side on the inside allows the octopus to lay more flat than the turtle, so the octopus is more stable than the turtle.More about the octopus: he is a very nice blue color. I know he's supposed to be sleeping, but I like to think he's awake and meditating until we go to bed at night, then he is sleeping. I like to think he gets angry when you interupt his meditation too much, which is why he gets enraged. I pretty much keep him on the sleepy/meditation side though.I got him on deal for $11.59 (reg price $15) which I would definitely pay for again. I do think the regular price is a little high, but I'd still buy him for it.I think these cute lil octopuses would be perfect as a gift. I'd definitely buy more, but I think he prefers being my only octopus. He doesn't seem to want friends. LolTL;DR: very soft and nice color, would purchase again. Also, the reversing is easier an the octopuses than the turtles.

This plushie is cute and soft - a great way for kids to play pretend and expsress their feelings. That said I should have looked at the size of this plushie before buying. It's huge! I thought it was the same size as the other emotion octopus plushie I bought some were else about the size across as a 5 year old child's palm . Nope ! It's almost as big as my entire hand! I should have looked before purchasing... I can't have my kids fighting over the one we already have so for some peace and quite I'm going to have to return this cute plushie for a smaller version.... . <sighs> still cute though!

We have this routine with my girls. Once they brush their teeth and clean up, get into PJs and tuck themselves in, we turn off the lights. I take my pocket flashlight and “draw” on these stuffies (we have cat and octopus) the bright flashlight leaves a clear and precise pattern (if I take my time) and they glow for hours. It’s a routine, a nightlight, soft cuddly, and bribe tool. Love it. I posted pics of them glowing. The cat photo turned out better but the octopus looks just as good. With a narrow beam bright flashlight you can literally draw details, write words, lasts long but is a gentle glow they can stare at as they fall asleep.
