Easy to install looks good on the gun and it's easy to see

I really wanted this to work but like many other reviewers reported, it snapped in half when I tried to install it. I followed the directions and pushed it down on a 45 degree angle but it still snapped. Examining it after, it really just seems too small for my 12 guage barrel. I ended up filing down the plastic and glued it to end of my barrel and reinforced the attachment with a small black nylon zip-tie. So it wasn't a normal installation and I'm not sure if it will hold, but I shot trap with it this morning and liked the way it worked. So I would say if you're lucky and it fits on your gun, it works great. But there is a good chance it might snap on installation.Update: I ended up removing this, not because it didn't work, but because it actually sat about twice as high as my original sight. If I looked at it from the front of the barrel, the bottom of this sight lined up with the top of my original sight. This might work well for some people (if it doesn't break on installation) but it wasn't right for me.

On-time. It's hard to believe that something so cheap and simple could have so much to bring to the table! Helped to dramatically improve my low light sight picture!

Like so many other people, I should have listened, it broke while installing on my barrel of an old thin wall 12 ga shotgun. The plastic mold seams to brittle to flex around a 12 ga barrel. Looks more like it would fit a 16 ga barrel. Directions indicate to "Snap onto 12 gauge shotgun barrel directly behind standard front sight." May have worked if slid on barrel from front then rotated up into position. (?)

It was just what I needed and it came to me in a timely fashion.

This item seemed too small for a 12 gauge barrel. The package & description state for 12 gauge. When trying to push it on the barrel the item snapped into two pieces. Item did arrive promptly & Amazon did refund. It’s just a great but poor quality/design.

Junk. I tried to snap it on the barrel as directed and it broke it three pieces. I need aRefund for wasted dollars. It says it is a 12gauge but shape looks closer to a 20g

As soon as my husband tried to install this on his 12 gauge it snapped into pieces. Don’t buy!
