ZINUS Owen Wood Platform Bed Frame / Solid Wood Mattress Foundation / No Box Spring Needed / Wood Slat Support / Easy Assembly, Queen

We’ve had this bed and frame for close to 2 months now and no issues! It came out of the box gorgeous & was fairly easy to put together. The only snag we hit was a simple fix (the instructions only have pictures, no words). This headboard is heavy, it definitely takes two people to put together in our experience, but so far it’s held up amazingly! No creaking, squeaking, cracking or any other concerning noises. It’s holding our king size bed & two large people well. :) very VERY satisfied with our purchase!!Edit: We’ve had this bedframe for over 3 years now. Still going strong!! :)

First, Amazon screwed up twice and sent us the wrong bed. It took a few phone calls but after realizing they had improperly categorized the inventory, they got it figured out. We we adamant though about purchasing a Zinus bed and here's why. They included a ratchet. We all have assembled things with the allen wrenches and it takes forever. I just use a drill and insert the proper size allen wrench bit into it and assemble everything that way. But nonetheless, Zinus thought to give us a "little ratchet", and three blank "thank you" cards. I'm not entirely certain if it was the marketing and having included those two things made me want to be brand loyal to Zinus; but it worked.So fast forward to us finally getting the correct bed (again, from Amazon, this was not a Zinus thing, it was out of their control). It's perfectly boxed, minimal packaging, yet adequate and sufficient. The picture directions were super simple, everything was well labeled, all the parts fit perfectly, not to snug, not to "soft" or with any play, but perfectly. The bed frame was completely assembled in 30 min. tops including unboxing and putting all the washers on. (Look experienced and only put the washers on the two smallest sized screws. None of the long ones, there are 8 of them, require washers.) The barrel nuts fit perfectly and lined up exactly to accept all the screws, the dowels were perfect; everything fit perfectly.Style wise, the finish and materials are excellent and we are very happy with this bedframe. There is no hesitation in my mind whatsoever that would compel me to not buy another Zinus product (even if it were priced a bit higher) in the future. I could not more highly recommend Zinus and this bed frame. Buy in peace!

This is the second ZINUS bed I have purchased. The first was for my preteen son who was able to assemble on his own. This headboard and bed was for my husband and I and was just as great quality. All of the parts come well labeled, they send extra nuts and bolts just in case. Put together in about 30 minutes and it feels sturdy, looks classic and beautiful especially for the price. I would recommend this bed to anyone who wants quality on a budget.

I think this frame is great for the price. The wood looks like good quality and it feels very sturdy after use for going on 6 months. The assembly was very easy with a little help from another person to stabilize. I'm overall very satisfied with my decision.The down fall for me is they didn't offer any way to cover the two large screws at the top of the headboard. As this is a lower bed frame, it leaves two large holes very visible on top of the headboard. Not a deal breaker, but definitely noticeable.

We purchased this for my father’s new home and originally weren’t sure if it was going to be a guest room bed or his actual bedroom bed. Upon assembly, we realized this is a super quality, sturdy bed which looks very expensive despite a relatively affordable price tag. It took about 20 mins for my husband to assemble it and there is no creaking, shaking, shifting, etc. The wood has beautiful tones of honey, caramel and walnut, which adds to the richness and depth of the overall look. We paired it with a firm memory foam hybrid mattress, no box spring, and my dad has no complaints as to sagging. Wonderful purchase and we will buy another for his guest room in the coming weeks.

We absolutely love our bed frame, it’s so easy to put together. And it is sturdy, quiet and looks fantastic. We have had it for a year and it is still looking great. I love the color and the style of the headboard. I wanted to get something the didn’t look like it fills up the space of the bedroom and this one has been great. 10/10 would recommend.

Not the easiest to put together by yourself, need an extra set of hands. That is the only complaint I have. Easy to follow instructions, sturdy as hell! Smart of them to include spare hardware. My doggie ate one of the bolts so it was a good thing there was a spare. I didn't have to contact the manufacturer to replace it although come to think of it I probably could have waited a day or so and recovered it. Still, I didn't have to wait to finish putting it together. When I say sturdy, I mean it holds me, the wife, and the leaping dog with no effort or give! In my life I have put together many pieces of furniture and usually have issues with parts not fitting right. These all fit perfectly. My new mattress fits great on it as well. All in all, wife is happy, doggie is happy, which means I get to be happy!

I am a small (5'2") and was able to put the bed together by myself in 2 hours or so. If you did put Ikea furniture together before, the bed will be easy for you to assemble!Absolutely beautiful color and sturdy. Perfect for my son's bedroom -- We have a restoration hardware dresser and bookcase set, but I didn't want to invest that much on the new bed, and the ZINUS Owen Wood Platform Bed Frame fit like a glove!

This is a high quality bed frame, looks amazing. Easy to assemble, all the parts are sturdy. Very nice design. Highly recommend this for rustic furniture decor!

I was a bit skeptical buying a bed online, but I am very impressed with the quality. Solid wood. Was packaged well, was in perfect condition. Very easy to assemble. Would highly recommend!
