The Pros; The mic has low self noise for the price range and sounds rich in the lows but the highs are still clear and with a strong output, bear in mind that this is a cardiod mic so is very direction and the low end alters with distance, I have bought mid range price radio mics while the transmitters and receivers work well, the supplied mic is of poor quality, so doing away with radio and going hardwired means cleaner sound and better mics for less than even a value radio set.The Negs; I have bought one of each from the Movo Lavalier range, the LV-4, 6, and 8, the 6 is the middle of the range and while the actual mic seems of good build and sound quality, the cable is rather thin and can pick up handling noise, the foam pop guard feels cheap and will need stretched to fit over the broad mic head.Conclusion; I can see me using this mic for many years, but will always have to handle the cable with care, might eventually replace the pop shield with a better one, otherwise for what it cost, it's a damn good mic

I am happy with the quality and the sound of the microphone but not with the clip and the windscreen. The windscreen broke during the first use of the mic and the clip shortly after. The replacement of both is quite expensive. So altogether a kind of disappointment - which is a pity as the quality of the mic is good.

The microphone constantly created a static noise that on recording was louder than the recorded voice! Completely useless. Returned.
