for the price, you can't beat these. . . buy one for each car and it takes one AA battery which everyone has tons laying around !!!

As with the first review, I found the thread quality below average. Using a little silicone grease on the threads should make them work smoothly and not bind. However, the real problems with these lights compared with the others of similar design is that the switch protrudes from the tail cap, therefore they cannot tail stand, Also the bezel on these lights has been shortened and the lens protrudes from the other end. They also did not bother to drill lanyard holes. The anodizing is also sub par.I have no way of measuring the lumen output but by comparison, it is below 100. To be fair, mine has a nice warm colored beam and it was shipped from China for a total of $3.40 so the fact that it is single cell led flashlight with a build quality above the average give-a-way light, I don't feel ripped off. I will through this in my disaster kit and hope that I never have to use it.

The little bit of time I had to wait to receive this was well worth it! Don't and I mean don't look at the beam to see if it is on (DUH, like I did)---it has blinding light for an item so small. I purchased it to put in the tool bag on my motorcycle, and it is perfect!

This flashlight is, indeed, bright. However, it has a significant design defect in that a user can have serious difficulty in accessing the battery compartment. I bought 6 of these lights and in 2 instances I had to unscrew the lens cap and use needle nose pliers in order to get the rest of the cap section off, where the battery is. In that I bought these flashlights for young nephews, I had to make a special effort to inform their parents of this problem (and how I overcame it). It appeared to me that all of the flashlights had the potential of having this problem as some time or another.Is this a serious enough problem as to justify a one-star rating? Well, knowing what I know now, I would not order these flashlights again if they were offering them for free. In my view, my time is worth more than these flashlights. HOWEVER, if the seller or manufacturer can provide me with instructions on how to easily unthread the cap to the battery compartment (when it sticks), then I will reconsider this rating. As long as this remains a one-star rating, potential buyers will know that I have received no such instructions.

Plesently surprised. The quality, size and performance of this little flashlight was close to amazing. For the price it is a five star for me. I compared it to 12" huge and heavy Mag Lite and it is by far brighter and more focused. Small, compact, light and very bright says it all.

My wofe loved it. I bought it for her to keep in her glove compartment in her car but she keeps it instead on the coffee table where it comes in really handy. Well made product!
