The media could not be loaded.  This wheel chock is very sturdy, well made. Ideal set-up for our scooter. Can put on and take off using one hand (see my video) using the quick-release plates. I would have given a 5 Star review but the 8 bolts that hold the 2 quick-release plates down are not long enough to go through the floor of the trailer. Had to make a trip to the hardware store to purchase the correct length bolts.

I ordered two. They are slightly different. One was 3 1/2 inch spacing and one was 4 inch. Measure each one before you drill into your floor and test it. On one of mine, the peg was welded crooked. We had to put washers between the floor and the bracket for it to work. I would have sent it back but we needed it right away. The screws were too short to go through a 2x6. I had to buy 2 1/2 inch screws. Set me back $36. Also, as others have mentioned, each side is bent different. They are not perfectly lined up or straight. I can see where I'm probably going to need to sand them and paint them. The finish is thin in several areas. This might really bother some people. I guess you get what you pay for.

Please read the description Heavy duty, well-built. At 3 1/2 in the best it can do is a fat bicycle tire or a very thin motorcycle tire. I decided not to return it for the $8 dollar fee and gave it to the local thrift store.

I like the low profile mounting brackets that screw to the trailer floor. The chalk is easy to remove and fits dirt bikes well. It is not wide enough for most street bikes.

You get what you pay for sums it up. Great value for setting up a trailer on a budget. Not the highest quality but will do what it’s designed to do. I bought 2 to put in an enclosed trailer to haul dirt bikes. Mounted in the trailer to be removable. Had to use nuts and bolts out of my garage because the nuts included would not thread on the supplied bolts and stripped out the Allen head when tightening. The chrome on the chocks is thin and already showing corrosion out of the box. as I said earlier I bought 2 chocks, they both have different dimensions so the one mounted on the left will only match up with the mounts on the left and the right on the right… As I said at the beginning of the review, good set up if you’re on a budget but if you’re overly particular about things then you probably won’t be happy.

I ordered two of these and the chocks themselves are ok. The locking studs were not perfectly square with the chock so I had the dilemma of positioning the mounts slightly offset to have the chock square or position the mounts square and let the chocks be slightly turned. I ended up squaring up the mounts in the event I ever need to purchase another chock for whatever reason. Probably not a big deal. The real issue with these is the hardware as other users have also described. I ended up lubing the threads and ratcheting the nuts on really slow. I still had issues with two of the nuts trying to strip itself out the entire length of the thread. If I ever need to take the mounts off, I'll probably need to drill off the bolt head and get new hardware. I haven't used them to secure the bikes yet but I'm sure they will be ok.
