MANGROOMER Professional Body Groomer and Trimmer Wet or Dry

Terrific trimmer. Easy grip with a FANTASTIC battery. As with any body groomer, you have to be careful in sensitive areas, but the Mangroomer works great--as detailed and comfortable as the more expensive groomer it replaced. Again, I want to emphasize the battery--a single charge lasted me for several weeks before any sign of slowing down. (I use it weekly for 20 minutes or so.) Strong trimmer. Excellent.

I bought the unit a few months ago but opened the box recently. The charger wasn't working so I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement unit within few days. Excellent customer service. As far as the usage, I had the older version and really liked it. This one seems to have a better design. I have only used it once and have no issues with it.

Gift for my husband who told me he did not like it because it pulled the hair on his face so it was returned.

So I decided this item just had to have a review. I looked at all of the incredible reviews that it had and thought, "Yes, I've finally found the perfect device to trim my manly bits so I look more like a boy!" This product had all the right things going for it, the name the packaging and the design. I was excited to use it and end my hunt for the perfect manscaping device. Alas, I was doomed for disappointment. If you like having your hair pulled and ripped out of your skin, or when you saw the waxing scene in 40-Year-Old Virgin and wanted to experience that, then you will LOVE this product! If that isn't so much what your looking for, but you want to spend three quarters of your grooming time unclogging the poorly designed blades, then you will LOVE this product! The double sided blades just increase the time between necessary unclogging sessions. Those nice looking red guides will be useless after it gets about 10 hairs inside of them. If both of these things sound amazing then trim some bits, don't clean it out and then just let it pull out each hair one by one! It'll take some time and hurt like hell, but hey hopefully your naughty side is satisfied. I've tried trimming my arms, chest, and bravely attempted my short and curlies. It doesn't matter what kind of hair you throw at this thing, it just plain sucks. I've tried to avoid the pain by taking pain medication before hand, I've tried enjoying numerous shower beers to numb myself, but unfortunately with all the time unclogging it, I either run out of beer or don't get to drink it at all. Mmm, love me some shower beer! Any who, I wanted the MANGROOMER to work and I gave it several chances after my blood, sweat and tears experience today I have had enough and decided it was time for a review. Save your pride and your gentleman's sausage and trim your naughty regions with another device and NOT THIS ONE! After my experience I can only think that those glowing reviews were coerced in some unacceptable way.

I've used other Mangroomer products before, so I've come to trust the name. This one stands alone, as the best so far. I've been "grooming" myself for years & had come to accept the fact that no product existed that could deliver the way the Mangroomer could. As soon as I got the product, I removed it from the packaging(it already comes charged) & began a trial groom. It was easy, efficient, and smooth. It packs a lil power unlike most clippers & maneuvers through the body's contours like a roadster on a winding road. I'm going to keep this puppy charged up & I look forward to using it.

UPDATED, After using this for a few months the blades have become completely dull, hair gets caught up and jams the units. I no longer can recommend this. Prior Review below: Pros: Looks very nice and seems to have decent power. Works ok on sensitive areas such as under the arm and other places but still requires careful operations. Charging stand works well after you position the arm correctly Cons: I have had it catch and snag hair before so it requires careful operation in some areas. Other thoughts: I see some people have mentioned the stand / charger does not work well. When this arrives the stand is folded, note you have to unfold the stand to get the charger to work properly (see photos).

I was getting tired of using scissors on my junk. It was so time consuming and did not really do a good job. The guys on Howard Stern said the product was so great that I decided to buy one. It is not real expensive so if it didn't do a good job, no big loss. I have never used an electric shaver before SO you do need to go slowly at first as to not pull your hairs out and get bleeding. It happened to me. But if you are cautious, and start with very dry skin, it works really well. You really need to stretch the skin as you go and hold it as the shaver works. I really wish the manufacturer would put an instructional video on their site but I suppose they are afraid of people calling it porn. But it would be very helpful. Should have bought this years ago. Its great.

Great price and great grooming machine - nice design, shaver is sharp, does not yank your hair. If you are into personal grooming, this is a must. 5 stars would highly recommend it.

I wish I've known this product much earlier. Smooth shaving for my pubic hair.
