BMW K1200RS, LT AND GT 1998-2010

Our daughter bought her dad a used BMW motorcycle last fall and this manual was on his Christmas wish list. A must for the guy who wants to work on his own motorcycle.

I am very pleased to write a review on this manual. This is an excellent reference manual and specifically targets my 2006 BMW K1200LT motorcycle which had a major upgrade from 2005 with modifications to the frame and forks, a larger output engine and the hyrolic centre stand to name but a few and these are all catered for.In particular can I commend the seller I interacted with. I am from New Zealand was in San Francisco for just 48 hours and this company had that manual awaiting my arrival on Palm Sunday. The manual was wrapped to a very high standard. Also their prices are very sharp compared to others (by a large margin in the case of this manual)The manual is capable of being followed if you wish to carry out repairs but is also a great reference guide to understand what technicians will be doing to effect repairs as well.Highly recommended manual and seller

I don't perform any major mechanical work on my BMY K1200LT, but do keep this manual on my workbench and use it frequently for the mundane tasks like tire and caliper changes, fluid changes and light maintenance work.Like any sophisticated engineering, the BMW folks have placed a lot of maintenance tasks beyond the experience level of the typical home enthusiast. But this manual has lots of pictures, and while the step by step instructions aren't always the clearest explanations I've ever seen, it sure goes a long ways to see how things work, Without it I'd be spending a lot more money at the BMW dealer's service department.

Great reference for a do it yourselfer. Item price was good, delivery quick and was brand new as advertised.BMW dealer service is beyond expensive, so anything you can do at home helps. It's a hilarious read for tech-heads, this book has way too much information. The average home mechanic would not attempt 1/4 of the work listed, but it's nice to have such a thorough reference when you're thinking of doing some work on your bike. It gives you confidence to take that first step and fix something and gives you a great reference tool if you get stumped.

Perfect great detail!

The BMW manual by Clymer was priced fairly, arrived timely and in new condition.It covers a vast array of material and so, is difficult to navigate. Photos are often dark, lessening their usefulness to a newbie reader. Spec sheets and electrical diagrams are well done.

Very comprehensive manual. Bought this for my fiance, who just bought a BMW and he is learning about the ins and outs of it. This manual is a wealth of knowledge and a must have for owners who don't want to have to take their bike in to the dealer for every little thing.

I have the BMW guide this is easier to read. I will get the book for my other MC. I have had hayes auto books and this one seems to be a cut above them.all I wish if you got the book you would get access to the book and color pictures ( zoom ability) on the internet. (hay guys how about it?)
