I have a silly Irish Draught. We would usually go for hacks with said silly horse spooking at everything and nothing, approximately every 30 seconds.I used the full recommended dose for several months, before reducing it to one scoop per day.To use, I pour on boiling water to get the best effects, and feed it later in the day. I add it straight to my horse’s feed and he loves it, very palatable.Within a couple of weeks of using daily, my house quietened down on his rides, and even stopped spooking at patches of grass!I have continued use of the product, at a reduced quantity, and have no plans to stop using it.As it is purely herbal, I don’t need to worry about putting nasty chemicals into my horse or feeding him things he doesn’t need.The price is very good considering each 1kg refill bag lasts me a couple of months. The refill bags are great as you don’t need to get another plastic tub, so also environmentally friendly.Fantastic, cost effective product.

I've tried countless calmers on my dog & placid is the only one that really works.She has a scoop daily & a double one if we're competing in dog sports.It just calms her enough to let her process what's going on, rather than barking at every dog she sees. Giving me a chance to work on her confidence.It doesn't make her drowsy, just chills her out.Her behaviour has improved immensely over the last 2 years.

Absolutely brilliant stuff... I use this on my very, very nervous horse, and I can honestly say the first time I have it to my gorgeous lad, which was in the morning, by the evening of that day it had started working.It doesn't sedate him, it just calms his nerves, just what he needed.I've just ordered my third bag so I have it in my stables locker. 5 star product, really happy.

Alway good quality herbs used. I use it daily with my Thoroughbred and it just takes the edge off him, I would definitively reccomend.

Nothing wrong with product, we have used it frequently over the years. However the last delivery we found the bag containing Placid was ripped and taped over, an amount was lost. This must have happened in the Warehouse prior to packaging for delivery.Only 2 stars because of this.
