Rockville 2 RHTSC 36" Inch Bookshelf Speaker Stands Surround Sound Home Theater, Classic

After upgrading our media room I had to rethink our surround speaker stands since I didn't want to hang them. After literally scouring the 'net, these kept coming up on literally every search. My primary concern, however, was having our dog knocking them over. After some research and hitting the chat rooms I decided to give these a chance, opting to fill them with sand for further stability.After receiving them I was pleased with the two tone finish, granted no real wood but a very well done veneer! After an easy assembly them and before deciding on which of two tops provided, I decided to cut up a large plastic length-wise to assure no moisture would touch the composite wood interior utilizing Gorilla duct tape to seal the cut sides together, l creating a custom container for the sand. Assembly of the unit required 1 Phillips Screw driver. Once that was installed, I started filling it with play sand until 3/4 full. I would suggest you handle all the filling of sand outdoors as it makes for a nice mess. Once full and after installing the top, I was done. I have to say I'm very pleased with the result; a very sturdy stand that allows me to place them easily in any sweet spot of the room.I HIGHLY recommend the Rockvilles stands as a superior solution for surround speaker placement and have to report I couldn't be happier! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The media could not be loaded. These Rockville stands represent the rare 'perfect' purchase for me. They do exactly what I need them to do, but with a quality and feature set that surpassed my expectations. They were super easy to build, requiring only a screwdriver, and the fit was tight enough that there was ZERO leakage when I filled them up 3/4 with sand. The inclusion of 2 sizes of top shelves (both large and small + extra pads and hardware for each), pretty much guarantee that they will be a good fit for your bookshelf speakers, and are easy enough to change out if you do a speaker swap in the future. The look of the stands, with their painted black sides and natural wood accents, will improve the visuals of any room. The rock-solid-stable platform they offer (once filled with sand) will greatly improve the sound of your speakers. Call me impressed!

I bought the speaker stands for my Polk surround shelf speakers so I didn't have to have them on the wall. I like the two tone black and wood sides with the black top and bottom. The stands are sturdy and solid.they don't look or feel cheap. If you want more weight you can add sand or kitty litter but I didn't think I needed it. Some of the other reviews recommended adding weight but I really didn't feel they are going to tip over without it. They're very easy to put together. four screws on the top and bottom and only took a few minutes to put together. They come with cord ties that stick to the back so you don't see the speaker cord hanging loose. A couple small issues is one, the base on one stand did come loose but I used a little wood glue and no further issue with that which was an easy fix.the other issue is you can see the screws on the top of the stand so it would have been nice to have some sort of cover for those but my speakers cover that so I can live with it. For the price they serve they're purpose. I would recommend.

Very stable on my carpet. Light weight. Works well with my bookshelf speakers.

Great product. Easy assembly

I have a pair of small Bowers and Wilkins bookshelf speakers that I recently purchased and had been placing them on top of other speakers. That severely limited my placement options so I started researching speaker stands and saw that these were highly rated. They were more than twice what some competing brands charged, but quality speakers deserve well built stands so I made the purchase. The stands arrived deconstructed in a box within a box, well protected and secured for shipping. Construction was a breeze even though they recommend watching a video and included an easy to follow instruction sheet. I did not need the video and honestly did not need the sheet because the construction is logical. There are two different sized top platforms to choose from depending on the size of your speaker. The assembly hardware is first rate with every screw hole perfectly drilled. Constructed fit and finish is outstanding and I find the stands secure without adding optional sand. My speakers are now free to travel around the room to suit my listening preferences and they have never sounded better. These cost more but the cost is well worth it. Five stars, highly recommended!
