This product works very well, but requires patience before you see results!
Great product! We had a huge pantry moth problem in our house that went on for over a year, and after trying this product we're finally moth free! It's been almost two months since I've encountered a moth, and running across them used to be a daily occurrence. The trap starts attracting moths right away (you might even seen them flying toward you as you go to lay it down), but since this trap only attracts males it takes a few weeks before you start seeing a dramatic reduction in moths. By killing the male moths, this trap stops the reproductive cycle of the moths and thus it takes an entire life cycle of these pests (about 4 weeks!) to eradicate them. During that time, I recommend setting out 1-2 traps in every room you've spotted moths flying and changing out the traps as frequently as necessary. These traps are supposedly good for 3 months, but if you have as bad of an infestation as I did, your trap will likely fill up well before that time. I think I switched mine out twice during the first week, and then twice more before I stopped seeing the moths all together.I would definitely repurchase this product again if I ever had need of it, but I'm hoping I never do!

These Work Unbelievably Well!!
I made the mistake of leaving a bag of birdseed by the front door. By the time I noticed the little worms crawling up the wall, they were everywhere on my 15 foot ceiling where I couldn’t reach them. I also started to see the moths around the pantry. I’ve had these meal moths before and they get in everything, even paper products. I bought the 20 pack and put out about 15 of them, all on the first floor in the shelves where I stored grain products and pasta, on the counters, near the front door and inside the pantry. In minutes there were so many of these things stuck on the inside, it was disgusting and great all at the same time. The traps in the pantry were completely full and I recently pitched them and placed a couple of clean ones around so I wouldn’t have to keep seeing all of the dead ones. I haven’t seen any of the moths in my food products. I think I got these just as the infestation was starting. These worked better than I could have hoped. They saved me a major problem of my own making.

No swarm
After reading some of the other reviews I expected to be swarmed by every moth in my house the second I cracked open one of the traps, it didn’t happen. I placed several through out the house spreading them out evenly. The next day I checked them, found the one on top of the fridge with about 10 on the bottom portion of the trap. Opened the cabinet above, found a bird seed bag I forgot was there with moths all over it inside and outside. Trashed the seeds, then concentrated them in the kitchen. After a few days they’re no longer flying all over the house, I see one or two occasionally in the kitchen near the traps. So they did do the job to find their food source and slowly rid my home of them.I think the old style black flag ones worked better. The new style is only good for catching dust.

Amazingly effective!
This is the best product I've ever purchased. The moment I took one of the traps out of the wrapper, the moths started swarming. My kids freaked out, wondering why it was happening. I was puzzled for a split second, but then I realized it...they were attracted to the traps. I've had them out one day, and they've caught maybe 20 moths a piece. I know it only attracts the males, and it will take a while until all the moths are gone, but I've never seen a product work so amazingly well right out of the box. Especially not a product that's designed to rid your home of pests.

Effective over 4-5 days
We had a small problem (1-2 moths a day) that got bad very fast, by the time I ordered these we were killing a dozen each day ourselves and had completely cleaned the kitchen, thrown out any potentially contaminated food, and done our best search for eggs and larvae. The day the traps arrived, I counted 35 moths that I killed while I was putting the traps around the kitchen and some other places in the apartment.Based on some of the other reviews here I was hoping to see these things work like a moth-vacuum... I killed every moth I could see rather than wait for it to hit the trap, but I found the first moth stuck in a trap about 3 hours after I put them out. By the next morning there were 8-9 moths flying around but the six traps I put out caught about double that. After work there were again, still some flying around, but the traps were also beginning to fill up. After just two days the most "populated" trap had to be replaced as there wasn't much surface left for them to stick but most of the others around the apartment were fine to stay out.A little over a week later now and we've seen only a couple moths in the last few days. Our traps are still out but it seems like we've successfully disrupted the breeding cycle, which is what "they" say you're supposed to do, and we think the remaining moths are the last of the bunch to hatch. We're going to keep the traps out for quite a while and keep foods sealed in airtight bags/containers to make sure we don't have a relapse, but the traps appear to have done their job.

I believe the results were as good if not better than the chemical approach.
We farm and have grain feed in storage. Last year we had an outbreak of Indian Meal Moths. We were going to lose a lot of feed and therefore money if it was not addressed. We raise our stock organically so chemical control is not an option, nor was it necessary if a better alternative control was available. We placed Dr. Killigan's traps around the feed room, hoping for some control. The next day I picked up trap after trap and they were filled with moths.Within in 24 hours there was a marked decrease in population. After a few days there was not a moth to be found except stuck in the traps.I believe the results were as good if not better than the chemical approach. Not only was control effective, but without exposure to pesticides and their residue. This product is much appreciated.Thank you.
